This is a builder’s and operator’s role, not only a strategy-deck role. As a core member of the Transformation Office, you will sit at the center of the transformation agenda, with a strategic vantage point across the full scope of work. You will play a key cross-functional role in the effort, collaborating frequently with Product, Tech, Finance, and Operations to drive the high-priority initiatives forward. You will be comfortable structuring ambiguous problems, building the analysis and the executive narrative, and carrying them from approved business case through pilot, rollout, and value capture. You will interact frequently and directly with senior executives, preparing materials for the Executive Committee and presenting them at the senior leadership level.
You operate strategically and in the details. You bring exceptional synthesis and communication skills and mastery of the core strategy toolkit (structured problem solving, Excel modeling, executive-ready PowerPoint), paired with the conviction to push through ambiguity and the willingness to roll up your sleeves and get things done, changing traditional processes into something faster and more customer-centric.
Key Responsibilities:
- Cross-functional ownership: Work cross-functionally to bring workstreams from approved business case through pilot, rollout, and value capture; accountable not for the plan alone, but for the result and its P&L impact.
- Build the analytical backbone: Develop the financial and operational models, KPIs, and reporting that size the opportunity, quantify impact, and hold every initiative accountable to its targets.
- Own the executive narrative: Structure ambiguous problems, translate complex analysis into a single clear point of view, and prepare and deliver Executive Committee- and senior-leadership-level materials with a high bar for accuracy and clarity.
- Translate strategy into execution: Turn enterprise strategy into clear operating plans, roadmaps, milestones, and owners that teams can actually run with.
- Shape the operating model: Help architect target-state operating models, the processes, roles, workflows, and store-level economics, across priority areas of the transformation agenda.
- Drive alignment and governance: Bring leaders across operations, finance, and corporate functions to clear decision points, build adoption in the field, resolve the risks and blockers that stall transformation work, and help manage cross-workstream sequencing and reporting so the program stays honest to its numbers and its timeline.
Minimum Qualifications
- Experience: 7 years of experience across strategy and operations, with a track record of taking cross-functional initiatives from idea to measurable result.
- Executive presence and influence: Superb top-down communication and synthesis skills, and track record of building and owning clear, executive-quality materials. Demonstrated success leading through influence rather than formal hierarchy, building trust across operators, finance, and other functions to deliver enterprise results.
- Comfort with ambiguity: Ability to move from an ambiguous, enterprise-level challenge to a clear execution roadmap autonomously, without waiting to be told how.
- Analytical rigor: Excellent Excel skills and strong financial knowledge, with the judgment to know which analysis actually drives a decision and the discipline to hold initiatives to their numbers.
- Consulting background: Tenure at a top-tier management consulting firm with transformation experience is strongly preferred. Experience in automotive retail, mobility, or multi-brand, multi-unit distributed consumer operations is highly valued.
Education
- BS/BA degree in Business, Economics, Finance, Engineering, or a related field.

Strategy Operations Manager Jobs in Florida: Frequently Asked Questions
How do you become a strategy operations manager in Florida?
Most strategy operations managers in Florida enter the role with a bachelor's degree in business, finance, or a related field, followed by several years in analyst, coordinator, or project management positions. Florida does not require a state-issued license for this role, but employers across Miami, Tampa, and Orlando increasingly favor candidates holding a PMP credential or a Lean Six Sigma certification, which signals readiness to lead cross-functional initiatives in complex organizations.
How much do strategy operations managers make in Florida?
Strategy operations managers in Florida earn a median of about $101,580 a year, based on May 2025 Bureau of Labor Statistics wage data, ranging from around $48,670 for the lowest 10% to over $226,080 for the top 10%. Pay rises with experience, specialty, and employer.
Which companies hire strategy operations managers in Florida?
Employers hiring strategy operations managers in Florida right now include Deloitte, Blue Origin, and GET IN LINE, based on current listings on Migrate Mate as of August 2026. Florida's concentration of healthcare systems, hospitality headquarters, and regional financial services firms means demand for this role is spread across several industries rather than a single dominant sector.
Which Florida cities have the most strategy operations manager jobs?
Miami, Tampa, and Florida account for the most strategy operations manager openings in Florida. Miami leads because of its dense financial services, international trade, and technology company base, while Tampa's growing corporate headquarters scene and Orlando's healthcare and hospitality industries each sustain steady demand for operations and strategy talent at multiple seniority levels.
Are there remote strategy operations manager jobs in Florida?
Yes, and more than most fields, since the work centers on analysis, planning, and stakeholder communication rather than physical operations. About 33% of strategy operations manager openings tied to Florida are remote or hybrid as of August 2026, reflecting the desk-based nature of the role. Strategic planning, business intelligence, and program oversight functions are the most likely to appear as fully remote positions.
How can I get hired as a strategy operations manager in Florida with little or no experience?
The most realistic entry path is moving from a business analyst, project coordinator, or operations associate role at a Florida employer, then making the case for a strategy or operations manager title once you have cross-functional project ownership on your record. Large Florida employers such as AdventHealth, Carnival Corporation, and Publix run rotational business development and operations programs that recruit candidates without direct management experience. Building proficiency in data visualization tools and earning a Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or a CAPM certification strengthens a candidate's profile considerably for Florida hiring managers.
Where can I find and apply to strategy operations manager jobs in Florida?
You can find and apply to strategy operations manager jobs in Florida on Migrate Mate, which lists current Florida openings updated regularly. Search the available roles, find the ones that match your background and location, and apply directly to each one without creating a profile or going through an intermediary step.
