Strategy Operations Manager Jobs in Georgia: Frequently Asked Questions
How do you become a strategy operations manager in Georgia?
Most strategy operations managers in Georgia enter the role with a bachelor's degree in business, operations, or a related field, often supplemented by an MBA for senior positions. Georgia does not require a state-issued license for this role. Hiring managers at Georgia firms typically value certifications such as PMP from the Project Management Institute or a Lean Six Sigma credential, both of which strengthen a candidate's profile considerably across Atlanta and other major markets.
How much do strategy operations managers make in Georgia?
Strategy operations managers in Georgia earn a median of about $103,730 a year, based on May 2025 Bureau of Labor Statistics wage data, ranging from around $47,440 for the lowest 10% to over $237,460 for the top 10%. Pay rises with experience, specialty, and employer.
Which companies hire strategy operations managers in Georgia?
Employers hiring strategy operations managers in Georgia right now include Kearney, Intuit, and The Home Depot, based on current listings on Migrate Mate as of August 2026. Georgia's concentration of Fortune 500 headquarters, large healthcare networks, and logistics companies means openings appear across multiple industries rather than clustering in a single sector.
Which Georgia cities have the most strategy operations manager jobs?
Atlanta, Rome, and Kennesaw account for the most strategy operations manager openings in Georgia. Atlanta dominates due to its density of corporate headquarters and professional services firms, while Savannah's port-driven logistics sector and Augusta's growing healthcare and cybersecurity presence generate consistent demand outside the metro core.
Are there remote strategy operations manager jobs in Georgia?
Yes, and more than most fields, given that strategy operations work centers on analysis, planning, and cross-functional coordination rather than physical presence. About 71% of strategy operations manager openings tied to Georgia are remote or hybrid as of August 2026, reflecting how well the role's core responsibilities translate to distributed teams. Strategic planning, reporting, and stakeholder alignment work are the functions most commonly performed remotely.
How can I get hired as a strategy operations manager in Georgia with little or no experience?
The most realistic path into the role without direct experience is through an adjacent operational or analytical position such as business analyst, operations coordinator, or project coordinator. Large Georgia employers including Emory Healthcare, Georgia-Pacific, and Cox Enterprises hire into these feeder roles and promote internally. Earning a PMP certification or a Lean Six Sigma Green Belt while in an entry-level role signals readiness for strategy operations responsibilities and accelerates advancement into manager-level openings.
Where can I find and apply to strategy operations manager jobs in Georgia?
You can find and apply to strategy operations manager jobs in Georgia on Migrate Mate, which lists current openings across Atlanta, Savannah, Augusta, and other Georgia markets. Find roles that fit your experience and apply directly to the employer through each listing.
