Overview of Function:

L.E.K. Consulting is seeking a Strategy & Operations Coordinator to join the Strategy & Operations function within the U.S. Industrials Sector. This role supports the growth, operations, and strategic priorities of the U.S. Industrials Sector.

You’ll report to the Director of Strategy & Operations - Industrials & Pricing, and you’ll work closely with Industrials sector leadership and the broader Strategy & Operations team. This role requires strong organizational and analytical skills, intellectual curiosity, and the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and senior stakeholders. It is well suited for someone who thrives in a dynamic environment and is looking to gain exposure to sector strategy and operations in a top-tier consulting firm.

Responsibilities

• Sector Strategy & Growth Support
• • Collaborate with the Director of Strategy & Operations - Industrials & Pricing to support development and tracking of strategic and operational plans for the sector
• • Collaborate with the broader Industrials team to coordinate sector priorities with Core Service functions
• • Assist in the project management of sector growth and operational initiatives
• • Support preparation of materials for sector and practice-level planning and leadership meetings, and follow-up
• Sector Operations & Communications
• • Support day-to-day operations critical to the effective functioning of the Industrials Sector, including (non-exhaustive):
• • • Partnering with the Knowledge Management team to maintain and enhance the Community of Practice (CoP) site(s)
• • • Coordinating knowledge-sharing initiatives to promote access to sector insights across the firm including best-in-class client development materials in conjunction with Knowledge Management (KM)
• • • Lead execution of regular team engagement activities such as team meetings and information sessions
• • • Tracking and managing the annual sector community budget
• • • Manage communication infrastructure, including distribution lists and collaboration channels
• • • Manage sector administrative elements core to the day-to-day operations of the sector
• • Contribute to performance reporting and internal communications within the sector
• • Manage the administration of the Industrials Insights Center (IIC)
• • Collaborate with Knowledge Management (KM), and Data & Analytics (D&A) teams to help facilitate access to sector-specific tools and IP
• Cross-Functional & Firmwide Engagement, and Community Building
• • Coordinate cross functional activities with other core services functions (e.g., Marketing, Growth, People, and Solutions) to support alignment of firmwide initiatives, firm with Industrials

Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree required
• A proactive mindset — we are seeking a team member who demonstrates initiative, anticipates needs, and consistently identifies opportunities to improve processes and outcomes beyond assigned responsibilities
• Experience supporting or coordinating multi-stakeholder projects in a fast-paced setting
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to synthesize and present information clearly
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail; ability to manage multiple priorities effectively
• Proficiency in PowerPoint and Excel
• Familiarity with AI productivity tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Microsoft Copilot, Claude) and interest in applying them to improve day-to-day operations
• Preference of at least 1–3 years of experience in consulting, corporate strategy, business operations, or other professional services environments
• Interest in the Industrials industry is a plus

• The expected base salary range for this position is $50,000-$60,000 annually. Actual compensation will be determined based on experience, qualifications, skills, and location. This position may also be eligible for discretionary bonus and a comprehensive benefits package.

• This role is based in either our Boston or Chicago office and follows our hybrid work model for U.S. offices. We require employees to be in their assigned home office Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday each week, as well as the first Friday of each month.
