Which marketing and advertising companies sponsor H-1B visas in Georgia?
Georgia-based employers with documented H-1B labor condition application filings for marketing and advertising roles include Cox Enterprises, Publicis Groupe agencies, NCR, Global Payments, and Delta Air Lines for in-house marketing positions. Atlanta's concentration of Fortune 500 headquarters and regional agency offices means a wider range of employers file LCAs for roles in brand management, digital marketing, and media planning than in most Southeast markets.
Which cities in Georgia have the most marketing and advertising H-1B sponsorship jobs?
Atlanta accounts for the overwhelming majority of marketing and advertising H-1B sponsorship activity in Georgia. The metro area's Midtown and Buckhead corridors host agency offices and corporate marketing departments. Alpharetta and Dunwoody, both within the Atlanta metro, have a secondary concentration of technology companies with in-house marketing teams that file H-1B petitions. Outside the Atlanta metro, sponsored marketing roles are significantly less common.
What types of marketing and advertising roles typically qualify for H-1B sponsorship?
H-1B sponsorship applies to specialty occupations requiring at least a bachelor's degree in a directly related field. In marketing and advertising, roles that commonly meet this standard include digital marketing manager, SEO and SEM specialist, marketing data analyst, brand strategist, media planner, and marketing technology specialist. General coordinator or assistant-level roles may not qualify if the employer cannot demonstrate that a specific degree field is a normal requirement for the position, per USCIS specialty occupation standards.
How do I find marketing and advertising H-1B sponsorship jobs in Georgia?
Migrate Mate filters job listings specifically by visa sponsorship type, so you can search for marketing and advertising H-1B roles in Georgia without sifting through positions where sponsorship is unavailable. The platform surfaces employer LCA filing history, which shows which Georgia companies have actually petitioned for H-1B workers in marketing and advertising job categories, giving you a more targeted starting point than general job boards.
Are there any Georgia-specific considerations for H-1B sponsorship in marketing and advertising?
Georgia does not impose state-level restrictions on H-1B employment, but the Atlanta market's agency ecosystem skews toward mid-size regional shops and in-house corporate teams rather than the large multinational agencies that dominate New York and Chicago. Smaller agencies may have less prior experience managing H-1B petitions, so candidates should confirm an employer's willingness and capacity to file before investing time in the interview process. E-Verify participation is required for Georgia state contractors and strongly encouraged statewide.
What is the prevailing wage for H-1B marketing & advertising jobs in Georgia?
U.S. employers sponsoring a visa must pay at least the prevailing wage, which is what workers in the same role, area, and experience level typically earn. The Department of Labor sets this rate to make sure companies aren't hiring foreign workers simply because they'd accept lower pay than a U.S. worker. It varies by job title, location, and experience. You can look up current prevailing wage rates for any occupation and location using the OFLC Wage Search page.
