JOB DETAILS

Supervisory Responsibilities:

- Recruit, interview, onboard, and develop team members within the supply chain department
- Oversee daily workflows, priorities, and scheduling to ensure operational efficiency
- Provide clear, timely, and constructive performance feedback and evaluations
- Address performance issues, discipline, and employee separations in alignment with company policies

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead and mentor a supply chain team spanning procurement, logistics, and inventory management
- Drive strategic supply chain initiatives aligned with overall business objectives
- Partner cross-functionally with Sales, Engineering, and Production to ensure material availability and on-time delivery
- Support sales and estimating efforts by providing accurate material costs and lead times for new quotes
- Manage supplier relationships, negotiate agreements, and proactively resolve vendor performance issues
- Leverage ERP systems (JobBOSS preferred, not required) and data-driven insights to optimize supply chain efficiency
- Ensure compliance with customer requirements, industry standards, and internal policies
- Track supply chain KPIs and continuously identify opportunities for improvement

REQUIRED SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS

- Proven experience in aerospace, defense, or similar highly regulated manufacturing environments
- Strong working knowledge of ERP/MRP systems with a data-first management approach
- Strategic mindset paired with a hands-on leadership style—this is a roll-up-your-sleeves role
- Excellent communication, vendor negotiation, and cross-functional leadership skills

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business Administration, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience)
- 5+ years of progressive supply chain experience, including leadership roles within a manufacturing environment
- Job shop experience strongly preferred

Physical Requirements

- Ability to sit for extended periods and stand as needed during meetings or operational tasks
- Occasional lifting of up to 25 pounds for reports, materials, or small equipment
