THE JOB
Live Nation is seeking an experienced and passionate Backstage Hospitality Chief to lead our catering team at our vibrant amphitheater. This seasonal role is crucial in ensuring a top-notch dining experience for artists, crew, and guests. WHAT THIS ROLE WILL DO
- Team Leadership: Oversee and manage the Backstage Hospitality Assistant team, providing direction, training, and support to ensure exceptional service and efficiency.
- Staffing and Scheduling: Responsible for recruiting, hiring, and scheduling hospitality staff to meet the demands of multiple events. Ensure adequate coverage for all shifts and manage team performance.
- Service Management: Coordinate buffet service, ensuring all food stations are well-stocked, presented beautifully, and meet the dietary needs of artists and crew.
- Dressing Room Coordination: Manage the stocking and preparation of dressing rooms, ensuring all hospitality riders are met with precision and care.
- Beverage Station Oversight: Ensure coffee and tea stations are set up and maintained throughout events, providing timely replenishments as needed.
- Guest Relations: Act as the primary point of contact for artists and crew, addressing any needs or concerns promptly and professionally.
- Collaboration with Kitchen Staff: Work closely with the kitchen team to ensure smooth operations and effective communication regarding menu items and service timing.
- Health and Safety Compliance: Ensure adherence to health and safety regulations, maintaining a clean and organized dining environment at all times.
- Event Planning and Coordination: Assist in planning for events, including logistics for setup, service flow, and breakdown after performances.
WHAT THIS PERSON WILL BRING
- Previous experience in hospitality management or food service leadership, preferably in a catering or event environment.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to lead a team and foster a positive work environment.
- A passion for providing outstanding guest experiences.
- Flexibility to work varied hours, including evenings and weekends.
- Current food handler’s card required.
