The Role
The Professional Services Director leads the strategy, execution, and performance of Professional Services across Americas East, supporting mid-size and large enterprise customers, Federal, and SLED segments. This role is accountable for delivery outcomes, time-to-value acceleration, and operational rigor within the region, leading an organization that includes Consultants, Service Delivery Managers, and Professional Services Managers. In addition to regional accountability, this Director serves as the global Professional Services leader for the Collaboration Security platform, focused on platform enablement strategy, services standards, and product partnership across all regions. This role does not own delivery execution for customers outside of Americas East. Regional Professional Services leaders retain accountability for delivery performance within their respective geographies.
This Director provides global platform leadership by:
- Defining implementation frameworks and consultative standards for the Collaboration Security platform
- Establishing enablement strategy and capability requirements across the global Professional Services organization
- Supporting delivery execution and advancing Certified Deployment Partner enablement program goals
- Ensuring consistent technical depth and deployment readiness worldwide
- Representing Professional Services in structured partnership with Product Management and Engineering
Principal Consultants specializing in the Collaboration Security portfolio report directly to this Director. These senior technical leaders drive complex implementations within the region and contribute to global architectural standards, thought leadership, and platform expertise. The Director is responsible for their performance, development, and alignment to both regional delivery and global platform objectives.
The Director owns global Professional Services enablement for the Collaboration Security platform — ensuring consultants worldwide are prepared to deploy evolving product capabilities, integrations, and advanced configurations, and collaborating closely with Customer Success, TAM, and Managed Services leaders responsible for adoption and operational success. Additionally, the Director oversees resources supporting implementation and consultative services engagements for the Data Security and Governance (DSG) program, partnering closely with the peer Director leading US West to ensure consistency across the Americas.
As the executive escalation point for Americas East and a visible global platform authority, the Director builds credibility with CISOs, CIOs, and senior security leaders. This role actively influences product roadmap direction by translating field insights, implementation friction, and customer requirements into structured feedback for Product Management and Engineering. The Director establishes disciplined operating mechanisms across both regional execution and global platform alignment, including KPI dashboards, forecasting accuracy, capacity modeling, standardized methodologies, and formalized product feedback loops.

- Serve as executive escalation lead for high-impact regional engagements.
What you bring to the team
- Demonstrated success delivering enterprise-scale, multi-product platform implementations across commercial and regulated public sector environments.

Which cybersecurity companies sponsor H-1B visas in New York?
Financial institutions are among the most active H-1B visa sponsors for cybersecurity roles in New York. JPMorgan Chase, Citigroup, Goldman Sachs, and Morgan Stanley consistently file petitions for security engineers and analysts. Large consulting and tech firms with New York offices, including IBM, Deloitte, and Pricewaterhouse Coopers, also appear frequently in Department of Labor LCA disclosure data for cybersecurity positions.
Which cities in New York have the most cybersecurity H-1B sponsorship jobs?
Manhattan accounts for the largest share of cybersecurity H-1B petitions in New York, driven by the concentration of financial services firms and enterprise technology companies. Buffalo and Albany have a growing presence through state government IT security initiatives and university-affiliated research. Long Island, particularly around Melville and Hauppauge, hosts defense contractors and managed security service providers that sponsor H-1B workers.
What types of cybersecurity roles typically qualify for H-1B sponsorship?
Roles that require at minimum a bachelor's degree in a specific technical field generally qualify as specialty occupations under H-1B rules. In cybersecurity, this includes information security analysts, penetration testers, security architects, cloud security engineers, and threat intelligence analysts. Positions requiring degrees in computer science, information assurance, or cybersecurity are well-documented in USCIS approval patterns. Generalist IT roles without a defined degree requirement are less likely to qualify.
How do I find cybersecurity H-1B sponsorship jobs in New York?
Migrate Mate is built specifically for this search. You can filter by visa type, state, and industry to see cybersecurity roles in New York where employers have a documented history of H-1B sponsorship. This saves significant time compared to manually cross-referencing job postings against Department of Labor LCA filings. Migrate Mate focuses exclusively on visa sponsorship jobs, so every listing is relevant to international candidates.
Are there any New York-specific considerations for cybersecurity H-1B sponsorship?
New York's financial sector is subject to strict data security regulations, including the NYDFS Cybersecurity Regulation (23 NYCRR 500), which has increased employer demand for credentialed cybersecurity professionals and, in turn, sponsorship activity. Candidates with certifications like CISSP, CISM, or CEH may find stronger employer interest in this market. New York City's high cost of living means prevailing wage determinations under H-1B rules reflect some of the highest required minimums in the country.
What is the prevailing wage for H-1B cybersecurity jobs in New York?
U.S. employers sponsoring a visa must pay at least the prevailing wage, which is what workers in the same role, area, and experience level typically earn. The Department of Labor sets this rate to make sure companies aren't hiring foreign workers simply because they'd accept lower pay than a U.S. worker. It varies by job title, location, and experience. You can look up current prevailing wage rates for any occupation and location using the OFLC Wage Search page.
