Search Marketing & Advertising Jobs in TexasMarketing & Advertising Green Card Sponsorship Jobs in Texas: Frequently Asked Questions
Which marketing and advertising companies sponsor Green Card visas in Texas?
Large advertisers and media-driven corporations headquartered in Texas are among the most consistent Green Card sponsors for marketing professionals. AT&T and its subsidiaries in Dallas, Dell Technologies in Round Rock, and ExxonMobil in Houston have active sponsorship histories. Regional offices of global holding companies such as Omnicom and Publicis also sponsor international employees, typically through the PERM labor certification process after an initial H-1B visa period.
Which cities in Texas have the most marketing and advertising Green Card sponsorship jobs?
Dallas-Fort Worth leads the state, driven by a dense concentration of corporate headquarters, advertising agencies, and media companies. Houston is strong for in-house marketing roles tied to the energy, healthcare, and petrochemical sectors. Austin has grown substantially as a tech-adjacent marketing hub, with brands and agencies supporting the city's expanding startup ecosystem. San Antonio offers a smaller but active market, particularly in digital marketing and Hispanic consumer advertising.
What types of marketing and advertising roles typically qualify for Green Card sponsorship in Texas?
Roles that require a specific bachelor's degree in a directly related field are most likely to qualify under the EB-2 or EB-3 employment-based categories. Positions such as marketing analyst, brand manager, digital marketing manager, media strategist, SEO specialist, and market research analyst typically meet this standard. Creative director and copywriter roles can qualify when employers document that a specialized degree is a genuine occupational requirement, which is assessed during the PERM process.
How do I find marketing and advertising Green Card sponsorship jobs in Texas?
Migrate Mate is built specifically for this search, letting you filter for marketing and advertising roles in Texas where employers have a verified Green Card or PERM sponsorship history drawn from DOL disclosure data. This matters because not every employer who posts a job will sponsor permanent residence, and standard job boards don't surface that information. Migrate Mate narrows the list to Texas employers who have actually filed for marketing professionals before.
Are there any Texas-specific considerations for Green Card sponsorship in marketing and advertising?
Texas has no state income tax, which affects how employers frame total compensation packages but does not change the federal PERM labor certification process. Employers must still advertise the role at the DOL-required prevailing wage for the specific occupation and metropolitan area, which you can verify through the OFLC Wage Search. In competitive Texas metros like Dallas and Austin, prevailing wage levels for senior marketing roles can be significant, so employers document compensation carefully to satisfy PERM requirements.
What is the prevailing wage for Green Card marketing & advertising jobs in Texas?
U.S. employers sponsoring a visa must pay at least the prevailing wage, which is what workers in the same role, area, and experience level typically earn. The Department of Labor sets this rate to make sure companies aren't hiring foreign workers simply because they'd accept lower pay than a U.S. worker. It varies by job title, location, and experience. You can look up current prevailing wage rates for any occupation and location using the OFLC Wage Search page.
