Which e-commerce companies in Wisconsin sponsor E-3 visas?
Kohl's is the most prominent Wisconsin-based retailer with active digital commerce and technology hiring, and the company has a track record of sponsoring skilled foreign workers. Smaller direct-to-consumer brands and logistics technology firms in the Milwaukee and Madison areas also periodically sponsor E-3 visas, though sponsorship decisions depend on the specific role, team budget, and hiring manager familiarity with the E-3 category.
Which cities in Wisconsin have the most e-commerce E-3 sponsorship jobs?
Milwaukee is Wisconsin's primary hub for e-commerce and digital retail hiring, driven by Kohl's corporate headquarters in nearby Menomonee Falls and a growing base of technology and fulfillment operations. Madison offers opportunities through its university-adjacent tech sector and several scaling direct-to-consumer companies. Outside these two cities, e-commerce roles with E-3 sponsorship are considerably less common across the state.
What types of e-commerce roles typically qualify for E-3 sponsorship in Wisconsin?
Roles that qualify must meet the specialty occupation standard, meaning they require at least a bachelor's degree in a directly related field. In Wisconsin's e-commerce sector, positions commonly meeting this threshold include software engineers, data analysts, UX designers, digital marketing managers, and e-commerce platform specialists. General warehouse, customer service, or operations coordinator roles typically do not qualify, as they do not require a specific degree field.
How do I find e-commerce E-3 sponsorship jobs in Wisconsin?
Migrate Mate is the most direct way to find e-commerce roles in Wisconsin that are open to E-3 sponsorship, as it filters specifically for visa-sponsoring employers rather than requiring you to screen hundreds of general listings manually. You can search by state and industry to surface relevant Wisconsin-based roles in digital retail, e-commerce technology, and online marketplaces, helping you focus your applications on employers already familiar with the E-3 process.
Are there any Wisconsin-specific considerations for E-3 e-commerce applicants?
Wisconsin's e-commerce market is smaller than coastal tech hubs, so the pool of E-3-sponsoring employers is narrower. Many Wisconsin retailers are traditional brick-and-mortar companies building out digital capabilities, which means e-commerce roles may sit within larger IT or marketing departments rather than standalone e-commerce teams. Applicants should confirm that the specific role requires a specialty occupation degree, as titles like 'e-commerce coordinator' can vary significantly in their actual qualification requirements from employer to employer.
What is the prevailing wage for E-3 e-commerce jobs in Wisconsin?
U.S. employers sponsoring a visa must pay at least the prevailing wage, which is what workers in the same role, area, and experience level typically earn. The Department of Labor sets this rate to make sure companies aren't hiring foreign workers simply because they'd accept lower pay than a U.S. worker. It varies by job title, location, and experience. You can look up current prevailing wage rates for any occupation and location using the OFLC Wage Search page.
