Which staffing companies sponsor visas in Wisconsin?
Major staffing firms with Wisconsin operations that sponsor visas include Manpower (headquartered in Milwaukee), Robert Half, Randstad, Adecco, and Kelly Services. Regional players like Accountemps and OfficeTeam also sponsor for specialized recruiting roles. Many focus on H-1B visa sponsorship for account management, business development, and technical recruiting positions requiring bachelor's degrees in business or related fields.
How to find staffing visa sponsorship jobs in Wisconsin?
Use Migrate Mate to search specifically for staffing and recruiting roles in Wisconsin that offer visa sponsorship. Filter by cities like Milwaukee, Madison, and Green Bay where most agencies operate. Focus on account management, business analyst, and recruiting specialist positions, as these roles commonly qualify for H-1B sponsorship at established staffing companies.
Which visa types are most common for staffing roles in Wisconsin?
H-1B visas dominate Wisconsin staffing sponsorship, particularly for account managers, business analysts, and senior recruiters requiring specialized knowledge. TN visas work for Canadian and Mexican nationals in management consulting or sales roles. E-3 visas serve Australian citizens in similar positions. L-1 visa transfers occasionally occur when international staffing firms move employees to Wisconsin operations.
Which Wisconsin cities have the most staffing sponsorship opportunities?
Milwaukee leads with corporate headquarters like Manpower and major branch offices of national firms. Madison follows with technology-focused recruiting roles serving the university and tech corridor. Green Bay and Appleton offer opportunities in manufacturing recruitment. Smaller markets like Kenosha and Racine have limited but growing staffing operations near Chicago's extended market reach.
What are Wisconsin-specific considerations for staffing visa sponsorship?
Wisconsin's prevailing wages for recruiting roles are moderate compared to coastal markets, making sponsorship more feasible for mid-level positions. The state's strong manufacturing base creates demand for technical recruiters with engineering backgrounds. University of Wisconsin connections help with campus recruiting roles, while proximity to Chicago expands market opportunities for Milwaukee-based agencies serving multi-state territories.
What is the prevailing wage for sponsored staffing jobs in Wisconsin?
U.S. employers sponsoring a visa must pay at least the prevailing wage, which is what workers in the same role, area, and experience level typically earn. The Department of Labor sets this rate to make sure companies aren't hiring foreign workers simply because they'd accept lower pay than a U.S. worker. It varies by job title, location, and experience. You can look up current prevailing wage rates for any occupation and location using the OFLC Wage Search page.
