Accounts Receivable Associate
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Review daily the daily aging report to determine delinquent customer accounts.
- Monitor assigned customer accounts’ delinquency status
- Perform collections on receivables owed for assigned customer accounts. Contacts designated customer representative by letter, email, phone, etc. to determine future payment status
- Arrange payment plans for customers who have an existing balance but cannot submit the balance in full
- Apply payments to accounts & performs account reconciliations
- Perform credit & check refunds
- Send out monthly statements
- Release credit hold orders up to designated authority limit
- Perform notary functions if appropriately licensed
- Back up receptionist with answering incoming phone calls and greeting main entrance guests. Ensures applicable internal personnel are notified guest has arrived and calls are holding
- Enroll customers in company specified relationship management software & transaction management software
- Answer customer phone calls & assist in customer service duties

Minimum Qualifications:

- Two years B to B Collections Experience Required
Education and/or Experience:
- Associate's degree (A. A.) or equivalent from two-year College or technical school; or two to five years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

To perform the job successfully, an individual should demonstrate the following skills and abilities:
- Must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Demonstrated ability to develop cooperative working relationships
- Must be highly detail oriented and possess strong negotiation skills
- Must be extremely organized
Computer Skills:
- Must be proficient with Microsoft Office software such as Outlook, Word, and Excel.
