Enterprise Account Director Jobs in Pennsylvania: Frequently Asked Questions
How do you become a enterprise account director in Pennsylvania?
Most Pennsylvania employers hire enterprise account directors who hold at least a bachelor's degree in business, marketing, communications, or a related field, though an MBA can strengthen candidacy for senior roles. There is no state-issued license required for this role in Pennsylvania. Hiring managers typically look for a progression through inside sales, account executive, or regional sales manager roles before stepping into a director-level position. Earning certifications such as Salesforce credentials or a Certified Strategic Account Manager designation from the Strategic Account Management Association strengthens your profile considerably.
How much do enterprise account directors make in Pennsylvania?
Enterprise account directors in Pennsylvania earn a median of about $64,480 a year, based on May 2025 Bureau of Labor Statistics wage data, ranging from around $37,270 for the lowest 10% to over $133,980 for the top 10%. Pay rises with experience, specialty, and employer.
Which companies hire enterprise account directors in Pennsylvania?
Employers hiring enterprise account directors in Pennsylvania right now include Comcast, DATAIKU, and MongoDB, based on current listings on Migrate Mate as of September 2026. Pennsylvania's concentration of healthcare systems, financial institutions, and technology firms creates consistent enterprise account director demand across the Philadelphia suburban market and Pittsburgh's growing tech corridor.
Which Pennsylvania cities have the most enterprise account director jobs?
Philadelphia, King of Prussia, and Home have the most enterprise account director openings in Pennsylvania. Philadelphia dominates because of its dense concentration of healthcare networks, financial services firms, and regional technology headquarters, while Pittsburgh's expanding life sciences and software sectors support strong demand, and suburban hubs like King of Prussia attract enterprise sales talent due to the large number of corporate campuses and regional offices located along the Pennsylvania Turnpike corridor.
Are there remote enterprise account director jobs in Pennsylvania?
Yes, and more than most fields. About 89% of enterprise account director openings tied to Pennsylvania are remote or hybrid as of September 2026, reflecting how much of this role centers on video calls, executive presentations, and CRM-driven account management rather than daily on-site presence. The most remote-friendly segments are SaaS, cloud, and managed services accounts, where clients and sellers rarely need to be in the same building.
How can I get hired as a enterprise account director in Pennsylvania with little or no experience?
The most realistic entry path is moving up from an account executive or senior account manager role within a Pennsylvania-based organization, where you can demonstrate revenue ownership before pursuing the director title. Large Pennsylvania employers such as Comcast, Oracle's Philadelphia-area offices, and regional healthcare IT firms regularly promote from within, so targeting those internal pipelines is practical. Lateral moves from customer success manager or solutions consultant roles also open doors. Building a portfolio of quantified account growth results and earning a CRM platform certification before you apply will give you a clear edge over other candidates.
Where can I find and apply to enterprise account director jobs in Pennsylvania?
You can find and apply to enterprise account director jobs in Pennsylvania on Migrate Mate, which lists current Pennsylvania openings updated regularly. Search the listings for roles that match your experience level, industry background, and preferred location or work arrangement, then apply directly to the ones that fit.
