Account Executive Jobs in Colorado: Frequently Asked Questions
How do you become a account executive in Colorado?
Account executive roles in Colorado require no state-issued license or registration, so the path runs through education and experience. Most employers expect a bachelor's degree, with business, marketing, or communications being the most common backgrounds. Colorado's technology and telecom sectors often value direct SaaS or enterprise software sales experience, and completing an employer-run sales development program at companies headquartered along the Front Range is a recognized way to move into a full account executive role.
Which companies hire account executives in Colorado?
Colorado account executive roles are posted by Travelers, Automotive Titling Corporation, and QXO and others right now, based on current listings on Migrate Mate as of September 2026. Colorado's dense concentration of technology, telecommunications, and healthcare IT firms means the hiring base is broad and active throughout the Denver metro and Boulder corridor.
Which Colorado cities have the most account executive jobs?
Denver, Centennial, and Colorado Springs have the most account executive openings in Colorado right now. Denver drives the largest share because it is the headquarters or regional hub for many of Colorado's largest technology, telecom, and enterprise software employers, while Boulder's startup and SaaS ecosystem and Colorado Springs' defense and healthcare sectors sustain consistent demand in those markets.
Are there remote account executive jobs in Colorado?
Yes, and more than many fields, since account executive work is fundamentally relationship- and phone-based rather than tied to a physical worksite. About 80% of account executive openings tied to Colorado are remote or hybrid as of September 2026, reflecting how broadly the role translates to distributed work. Inside sales and SaaS account management positions tend to be the most consistently remote, while roles covering an in-person territory remain on-site or hybrid.
How can I get hired as a account executive in Colorado with little or no experience?
The most realistic entry path is starting as a sales development representative or business development representative, roles that appear regularly at Colorado's Front Range technology and telecom employers and are designed to build the pipeline skills that lead to a full account executive seat. Companies with large Colorado sales floors often run structured SDR-to-AE progression tracks. A demonstrated record of outbound outreach, quota attainment in any context, and familiarity with CRM tools gives entry-level candidates a clear edge in Colorado interviews.
Where can I find and apply to account executive jobs in Colorado?
You can find and apply to account executive jobs in Colorado on Migrate Mate, which lists current Colorado openings from employers hiring right now. Find a role that fits your experience and target sector, then apply directly to the employer through the listing.
