Product Marketing Jobs in Colorado: Frequently Asked Questions
How do you become a product marketing in Colorado?
Product marketing in Colorado requires no state-issued license or credential. Most Colorado employers expect a bachelor's degree in marketing, business, communications, or a related field, along with hands-on experience in product or B2B marketing. Candidates who build a portfolio demonstrating go-to-market work, product launches, or competitive analysis are consistently more competitive. Many Colorado tech and SaaS companies also value an MBA or a product marketing certification from recognized professional bodies.
How much do product marketings make in Colorado?
Product marketings in Colorado earn a median of about $182,730 a year, based on May 2025 Bureau of Labor Statistics wage data, ranging from around $121,560 for the lowest 10% to over $289,870 for the top 10%. Pay rises with experience, specialty, and employer.
Which companies hire product marketings in Colorado?
Colorado product marketing roles are posted by Ibotta, Alteryx, and Advanced Energy Industries and others right now, based on current listings on Migrate Mate as of September 2026. Colorado's dense concentration of technology, aerospace, and outdoor brands means product marketing talent is consistently in demand across both enterprise software and consumer-facing companies headquartered or operating along the Front Range.
Which Colorado cities have the most product marketing jobs?
Denver, Colorado, and Fort Collins lead Colorado for product marketing openings. Denver draws the largest share because of its headquarters density in SaaS, fintech, and health technology, while Boulder's startup and consumer brand ecosystem generates steady demand, and Colorado Springs benefits from defense and technology contractors based there. Suburban corridors around Denver, including Broomfield and Westminster, also post meaningful volumes tied to large regional tech campuses.
Are there remote product marketing jobs in Colorado?
Yes, and more than most fields. About 80% of product marketing openings tied to Colorado are remote or hybrid as of September 2026, reflecting how heavily the work centers on strategy, content, and collaboration rather than on-site presence. Roles focused on product messaging, competitive intelligence, and content development are the most commonly offered as fully remote, while positions requiring close alignment with sales or executive teams tend toward hybrid arrangements.
How can I get hired as a product marketing in Colorado with little or no experience?
The most realistic entry path is through a marketing coordinator or content marketing role at a Colorado tech company, which builds the positioning and messaging skills product marketing teams value. Companies such as Trimble and Arrow Electronics run associate marketing programs, and Boulder's startup scene regularly hires growth or demand-generation associates who transition into product marketing. A portfolio of product launch assets, customer personas, or competitive analyses, even from coursework or freelance work, gives candidates with no direct title a meaningful edge.
Where can I find and apply to product marketing jobs in Colorado?
You can find and apply to product marketing jobs in Colorado on Migrate Mate, which lists current Colorado openings. Search the listings to find roles that match your experience level and specialty, then apply directly to the ones that fit.
