Kent State University’s Regional Campus System is seeking qualified adjunct faculty to join our instructional team across multiple disciplines. We are proactively building our adjunct pool to support student demand, program growth, and high-quality instruction across our campuses.

Examples of Duties:
Duties/essential functions may include, but not be limited to, the following:
Adjunct faculty are responsible for delivering course content, engaging students in meaningful learning experiences, maintaining course materials in Canvas, and upholding university academic standards. Courses may be offered in-person, hybrid, or online depending on campus and program needs.
Kent State’s Regional Campuses serve diverse communities and maintain strong connections to regional workforce and community partners. We welcome applicants who bring both academic preparation and professional experience to the classroom.

Minimum Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in the teaching field or a closely related field
- Demonstrated expertise in the discipline
- Relevant professional, clinical, or industry experience where applicable
- Appropriate licensure or certification where required (e.g., PTA, Social Work)

Working Conditions / Physical Requirements:
Light work - Exerting up to 20 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 10 pounds of force frequently to move objects. Incumbent must be able to communicate with others. Incumbent may be required to travel from building to building frequently and off campus occasionally.
