Hiring managers at Michigan employers typically look for a portfolio of campaign work, proficiency with digital marketing platforms, and internship or co-op experience gained through Michigan universities such as University of Michigan, Michigan State, or Wayne State University.
Which companies hire brand marketings in Michigan?
Employers hiring brand marketings in Michigan right now include CDMA, Elite Demo, and Victory Field Operations, based on current listings on Migrate Mate as of November 2026. Michigan's concentration of automotive manufacturers, consumer goods companies, and large health systems creates consistent brand marketing demand across both corporate and agency settings.
Which Michigan cities have the most brand marketing jobs?
Novi, Warren, and Detroit have the most brand marketing openings in Michigan. Detroit leads because of its dense concentration of automotive headquarters, regional corporate offices, and advertising agencies, while Grand Rapids draws demand from a growing retail and healthcare employer base, and Ann Arbor benefits from the University of Michigan's research and tech-adjacent business ecosystem.
Are there remote brand marketing jobs in Michigan?
Yes, and more than most fields. About 33% of brand marketing openings tied to Michigan are remote or hybrid as of November 2026, reflecting the desk-based and digital nature of the work. Internship programs at these companies and at Detroit-area advertising agencies provide a direct pipeline. A portfolio of student or freelance campaign projects, combined with proficiency in platforms like Google Analytics or Meta Ads Manager, gives candidates a clear edge over applicants without hands-on samples.
