JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Provide comprehensive mental health care for perinatal patients who have psychiatric needs and are being treated at The Coleman Center for Women and Riley Maternal Fetal Medicine Clinic.
- Will have opportunities to provide inpatient consults within the Riley Maternity Tower.
- Conduct psychiatric and physical assessments, order and interpret diagnostic tests, diagnose mental health conditions, and develop individualized treatment plans. Treatment may include psychotropic medication management, individual and group psychotherapy, patient and family education and other evidence-based supportive interventions.
- You will play a key role in delivering integrated, patient-centered care to support emotional well-being and overall quality of life.
QUALIFICATIONS
- PMHNP or PA certification required
- Prefers 1-2 years of clinical experience in any psychiatric setting
- Prefer prior clinical experience providing mental health care to patients with a variety of diagnoses including mood and anxiety disorders, substance use disorders, thought and personality disorders, and others.
- Ideal candidate would have experience working with perinatal population.
