Frame your resume around revenue impact
Jobot's Business Manager roles in staffing sit at the intersection of sales and operations. Quantify client acquisition, team growth, and retained revenue in your resume so hiring managers can immediately assess your commercial value beyond administrative credentials.
Clarify your OPT or TN timeline upfront
Staffing firms move fast on hiring decisions. Know your exact work authorization end date before your first recruiter call so Jobot's internal team can assess H-1B sponsorship feasibility before extending an offer, not after.
Target Jobot's high-volume business lines
Jobot fills Business Manager roles across technology, finance, and healthcare staffing verticals. Aligning your background to one of these active verticals increases your chances of matching an open requisition that already has budget approved for sponsorship.
Prepare your specialty occupation documentation early
For H-1B sponsorship, USCIS requires evidence that Business Manager duties constitute a specialty occupation. Gather your degree transcripts, any business certifications, and a detailed job description breakdown before the offer stage to avoid delays in the I-129 filing.
Use Migrate Mate to find open roles efficiently
Jobot posts Business Manager positions across multiple channels, but not all are flagged for sponsorship eligibility. Use Migrate Mate to filter specifically for Jobot openings that accommodate your visa type so you're only applying where sponsorship is actively on the table.
Confirm LCA filing scope with your Jobot contact
Because staffing and recruiting firms sometimes place Business Managers at client sites, ask your Jobot recruiter whether the Labor Condition Application will cover the primary worksite or multiple locations. A mismatch between the LCA and your actual work location creates compliance issues with DOL.

Find Business Manager at Jobot JobsFrequently Asked Questions
Does Jobot sponsor H-1B visas for Business Managers?
Yes, Jobot has sponsored H-1B visas for Business Manager roles. As a staffing and recruiting firm, Jobot is familiar with the sponsorship process, but approval is role-dependent. The position needs to qualify as a specialty occupation under USCIS standards, which means the job duties must typically require at least a bachelor's degree in a specific field like business administration or management.
How do I apply for Business Manager jobs at Jobot?
You can apply directly through Jobot's website or through Migrate Mate, which lets you filter Business Manager openings at Jobot by visa type so you only see roles where your work authorization is supported. When you apply, be upfront about your sponsorship needs early in the recruiter conversation, since Jobot's process moves quickly and timeline clarity helps both sides.
Which visa types does Jobot commonly use for Business Manager roles?
Jobot has used H-1B, F-1 OPT, and TN visas for Business Manager positions. F-1 OPT is typically the starting point for recent graduates, giving you up to 12 months (or 36 months on STEM OPT if your degree qualifies) to work before an H-1B transfer is needed. TN status is available to Canadian and Mexican nationals in qualifying business management roles.
What qualifications does Jobot expect for Business Manager roles?
Jobot's Business Manager openings in staffing generally expect a bachelor's degree in business, management, or a related field, combined with demonstrated experience managing client relationships or internal teams. Because sponsorship requires proving specialty occupation status to USCIS, candidates with a directly relevant degree field and clearly defined management responsibilities are in the strongest position when Jobot files a petition on their behalf.
How do I handle the H-1B sponsorship timeline when working with Jobot?
The H-1B cap lottery runs once a year, with registration typically opening in March and employment start dates no earlier than October 1. If you're on F-1 OPT, your authorization needs to bridge the gap. Jobot will need to file a Labor Condition Application with the DOL before submitting the I-129 petition to USCIS, so starting those conversations well before your OPT expiration is practical.
