We are currently seeking a highly skilled and motivated Construction Estimator to join our dynamic team. This is a permanent position with an excellent opportunity to work on a variety of exciting construction projects. The successful candidate will have a keen eye for detail, an analytical mind, and a deep understanding of construction processes and costs. This role is integral to our team as it involves developing accurate estimates and budgets for our construction projects, which drive our strategic planning and financial decision making.

Responsibilities:
1. Analyzing blueprints, specifications, proposals, and other documentation to prepare time, cost, and labor estimates for projects or services.
2. Preparing detailed cost estimates by analyzing the materials, labor, equipment, and time requirements for each project.
3. Conducting regular risk assessments and providing cost control solutions.
4. Collaborating with engineers, architects, clients, and contractors on estimates.
5. Researching and sourcing the best materials and suppliers in terms of cost, quality, and delivery times.
6. Maintaining a database of standard costs and managing changes to these costs due to inflation, labor law changes, and other factors.
7. Preparing and presenting reports detailing estimates and project progress to company stakeholders.
8. Negotiating and finalizing contracts with suppliers and contractors.
9. Keeping up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in technology to enhance cost-efficiency.
QUALIFICATIONS
1. A minimum of 2 years of experience in construction estimation or a related field.
2. Prior or current precast concrete experience.
3. Proficiency in using estimating software and database software.
4. Strong knowledge of construction materials, processes, and equipment.
5. Excellent mathematical and analytical skills.
6. Strong negotiation and communication skills.
7. High attention to detail and accuracy.
8. Ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines.
9. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think strategically and logically.
10. Knowledge of industry safety and building regulations.
11. Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
