Align Your Credentials to PE Licensure Expectations
Langan values licensed or license-eligible engineers for Project Manager roles. Before applying, verify whether your home-country engineering credentials qualify for U.S. state PE reciprocity, and gather any academic transcripts or credential evaluation letters you may need.
Target Offices Near Active Permitting Markets
Langan's Project Manager hiring concentrates in regions with dense land development and infrastructure activity. Research which branch offices are staffed for environmental or civil site work, then tailor your application to those locations rather than applying broadly.
Clarify Your OPT or Grace Period Timeline Early
If you're on F-1 OPT, flag your authorization end date during initial recruiter conversations. Langan sponsors CPT and OPT extensions, but your start date and cap-gap window will shape whether a change of status or consular processing route makes more sense.
Prepare a Client-Facing Project Portfolio
Project Manager candidates at consulting firms like Langan are evaluated on their ability to manage client relationships and deliverables, not just technical output. Document two or three projects where you led scope, budget, or agency coordination from start to close.
Browse Open Roles Before Reaching Out to Recruiters
Review current Project Manager openings at Langan on Migrate Mate, which filters specifically for visa-sponsoring employers. Knowing which office and practice area is actively hiring gives you a sharper conversation when you contact the recruiting team directly.

Does Langan Engineering and Environmental Services sponsor H-1B visas for Project Managers?
Yes, Langan Engineering and Environmental Services sponsors H-1B visas for Project Manager positions. The firm has an established pattern of filing H-1B petitions for engineering and environmental consulting professionals. Because H-1B cap-subject petitions are tied to the annual lottery, timing your offer and petition filing relative to the April 1 cap season is critical to your sponsorship plan.
How do I apply for Project Manager jobs at Langan Engineering and Environmental Services?
You can browse current Project Manager openings at Langan that are open to visa sponsorship on Migrate Mate, which surfaces roles from employers with a verified sponsorship track record. From there, apply directly through Langan's careers portal and flag your work authorization status early in the process so the recruiting team can align sponsorship logistics with your timeline.
Which visa types does Langan Engineering and Environmental Services commonly use for Project Manager hires?
Langan sponsors a range of visa categories for Project Managers, including H-1B, TN (for Canadian and Mexican nationals in qualifying engineering roles), F-1 OPT and CPT for recent graduates, J-1 for exchange visitors, and EB-2 and EB-3 immigrant visas for longer-term Green Card pathways. The right category depends on your nationality, degree, and where you are in your career.
What qualifications does Langan Engineering and Environmental Services expect for Project Manager roles?
Langan typically looks for a bachelor's degree or higher in civil, environmental, or geotechnical engineering for Project Manager positions. Relevant site development, permitting, or environmental consulting experience is expected, and PE licensure or active pursuit of it strengthens your candidacy significantly. Client management experience and familiarity with local regulatory agency processes are also factors recruiters evaluate.
How long does the visa sponsorship process take for a Project Manager role at Langan?
Timeline depends on visa type. H-1B cap-subject petitions must be filed by April 1 for an October 1 start, so offers typically need to be finalized months in advance. TN status for Canadians can be obtained at the border in a single day. PERM-based Green Card sponsorship through DOL usually spans one to two years before an I-140 petition is filed with USCIS.
