ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES
At Netflix, our mission is to entertain the world through stories shared at the right place and time. The Ad Ops Demand Management team is a cornerstone of the Ads Operations organization at Netflix, providing critical operational leadership and partnership to our regional sales teams across US and Canada. This team ensures seamless campaign execution, contextualizes pacing and delivery dynamics, and proactively governs deal operations throughout their lifecycle. As the Sr. Manager of Ad Ops Demand Management, you will provide operational leadership to a regionally-embedded, high-performing team, setting the standard for how the team works, how it partners with the UCAN Sales & Account Management, and how it scales. You will drive a culture where AI solutions are the default, building a team that is equipped and expected to solve problems at scale without defaulting to manual or offline approaches. The ideal candidate is a seasoned digital advertising operations executive with deep operational mastery, a data-driven mindset, and the executive presence to hold their own with senior leaders across Sales, Product, and Engineering teams.
In This Role, You Will
- Lead, develop, and inspire a team of Demand management leads and senior specialists aligned to regional revenue pods. Provide the teams with the context necessary to do their best work.
- Align with other regional leads to define the strategic vision for demand management, while tailoring execution to the unique needs of regional sales teams and business objectives.
- Direct end-to-end campaign and deal readiness, pacing, and delivery, leveraging advanced automation and AI solutions to drive efficiency, early issue detection, and continuous improvement.
- Serve as the primary operational advisor to Sales and Account Management, translating data and system outputs into actionable business insights.
- Build a team culture that champions automation-first approaches where scalable, tool-native thinking is the starting point, not an afterthought.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Sales, Account Management, Ad Ops Solutions, Product, and other teams to ensure seamless execution and rapid resolution of operational issues.
- Triage and escalate complex technical problems to Ad Ops Solutions, maintaining focus on proactive oversight rather than execution.
- Provide regular reporting and operational insights, supporting revenue growth and campaign success through data-driven decision-making.
- Optimize workflows for scalability, continuously identifying and implementing process improvements to increase speed and clarity.
- Anticipate and address evolving operational needs as the business scales, ensuring the team is equipped to support future business growth & transformation.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- 10+ years of experience in digital advertising operations, ad tech, or related roles, with significant expertise across the programmatic ecosystem—including DSPs, SSPs, aggregators, resellers, and other supply and demand platforms
- 7+ years of people management experience, leading high-performing teams in fast-paced, dynamic environments
- Demonstrated ability to operate with confidence at the senior stakeholder level, communicating operational complexity clearly, pushing back constructively when needed, and building credibility with senior leadership without relying on escalation
- Deep knowledge of campaign/deal lifecycle management—including readiness, spend trends, and performance monitoring—across both direct and programmatic channels
- Strong understanding of programmatic media buying, inventory management, auction dynamics, and the operational nuances of indirect demand (including deal desks, private marketplaces, and always-on programmatic channels)
- Demonstrated ability to leverage automation, genAI, and data analytics to drive operational efficiency and scale within the digital advertising landscape
- Proven ability to surface operational insights and translate complex, cross-channel data into clear, actionable recommendations for revenue teams
- Experience collaborating with cross-functional partners, including Sales, Account Management, Product, Ad Ops Solutions, and external technology or data vendors
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, able to distill technical or operational complexity into business clarity
- Forward-thinking, adaptable mindset with a keen eye for industry trends, scalability, and continuous improvement in programmatic and digital advertising operations

Frame your PM credentials for U.S. specialty occupation standards
Your H-1B petition requires demonstrating that the Manager, Product Management role requires a bachelor's degree or higher in a specific field. Document how your degree directly relates to product strategy, not just general business, to strengthen the specialty occupation argument.
Target Netflix's product pillars when applying
Netflix organizes product management around distinct verticals like monetization, streaming infrastructure, and content personalization. Tailoring your application materials to a specific product area signals depth and increases your odds of clearing the recruiter screen.
Clarify your visa category before your first recruiter call
Netflix sponsors multiple visa types for this role. Knowing whether you need H-1B cap filing, an E-3 renewal, or TN status lets you ask the right questions early and prevents misaligned expectations at the offer stage.
Understand the LCA's role in your offer timeline
Before Netflix can file your H-1B petition with USCIS, the company must get a certified Labor Condition Application from the DOL. This step adds time to your start date, so factor at least two to four weeks into your post-offer planning.
Use Migrate Mate to surface open PM roles at Netflix by visa type
Filtering by visa category saves time when you're on OPT or need a specific sponsorship path. Migrate Mate lets you browse Manager, Product Management openings at Netflix filtered by the visa types the company actively sponsors for this function.
Prepare your F-1 OPT cap-gap documentation before interviewing
If you're on OPT and Netflix's H-1B filing falls into the cap-gap window, your work authorization extends automatically while USCIS adjudicates. Carry your I-20 extension endorsement and EAD card to any background check or onboarding step to avoid employment gaps.
Frequently Asked Questions
Does Netflix sponsor H-1B visas for Manager, Product Managements?
Yes, Netflix sponsors H-1B visas for Manager, Product Management roles. The company participates in the annual H-1B cap filing cycle and has a consistent record of sponsoring international product talent at this level. If you're subject to the cap lottery, timing your application around Netflix's hiring cycle and confirming their filing calendar with your recruiter early in the process is critical.
How do I apply for Manager, Product Management jobs at Netflix?
You can apply directly through Netflix's careers site or discover open roles on Migrate Mate, which filters listings by visa sponsorship type so you can confirm eligibility before applying. Netflix's PM hiring process typically includes a recruiter screen, a case study or product strategy exercise, and several rounds of cross-functional interviews with product, engineering, and design stakeholders.
Which visa types does Netflix commonly sponsor for Manager, Product Management roles?
Netflix sponsors H-1B, E-3 visa, TN visa, and J-1 visas for this role, along with F-1 OPT and CPT for candidates earlier in their careers. For longer-term employment authorization, Netflix also supports EB-2 and EB-3 Green Card pathways. Australian nationals often find the E-3 visa category particularly practical since it avoids the H-1B lottery entirely.
What qualifications does Netflix expect for Manager, Product Management roles?
Netflix typically looks for product managers with demonstrable experience owning a full product lifecycle, cross-functional leadership at scale, and a track record of using data to drive decisions. For visa sponsorship purposes, your degree should be directly tied to the product discipline you're applying into, whether that's computer science, engineering, or a quantitative business field, since the H-1B specialty occupation standard requires a specific degree connection to the role.
How long does the visa sponsorship process take when joining Netflix as a Manager, Product Management?
Timeline depends on your visa category. H-1B standard processing can take three to six months after USCIS receives the petition, though Netflix may elect to use premium processing to reduce that to around 15 business days. TN and E-3 applicants can often begin employment faster since those categories don't require USCIS petition approval before a consular interview. Factor in DOL's LCA certification window of roughly 10 business days before any petition is filed.
