Align your credentials to diagnostics operations
Quest Business Manager roles often require demonstrated experience in healthcare services, lab operations, or diagnostics sales. Frame your resume around metrics like revenue growth, contract management, or operational efficiency within a clinical or medical services environment before applying.
Identify Quest's regional hiring hubs first
Quest operates patient service centers and regional labs across the country with uneven hiring activity. Target markets with active Business Manager openings tied to specific diagnostic divisions, since sponsorship decisions often follow regional budget cycles rather than a centralized national timeline.
Confirm LCA-covered positions before interviewing
Business Manager roles at Quest that support H-1B sponsorship require a certified Labor Condition Application from DOL before USCIS filing. Ask your recruiter early whether the specific role is already mapped to a wage level and LCA category, not after you have an offer.
Use Migrate Mate to filter verified sponsorship openings
Not every Business Manager listing at Quest actively offers visa sponsorship. Use Migrate Mate to surface roles at Quest Diagnostics that are verified for H-1B, TN, or OPT sponsorship, saving you from applying to positions where sponsorship is unavailable for this function.
Prepare for PERM timing if targeting Green Card
If you're on H-1B and targeting an EB-2 or EB-3 Green Card path through Quest, understand that PERM labor certification processing at DOL currently takes over a year. Factor that into your H-1B renewal timeline so your status remains valid throughout the process.
Negotiate start date around H-1B cap deadlines
If you need a new H-1B, Quest must file during the April 1 cap season for an October 1 start. Structure your offer negotiation so your expected start date aligns with that window, not an arbitrary onboarding date that forces an alternative status workaround.

Find Business Manager at Quest Diagnostics JobsFrequently Asked Questions
Does Quest Diagnostics sponsor H-1B visas for Business Managers?
Yes, Quest Diagnostics sponsors H-1B visas for Business Manager roles that qualify as specialty occupations under USCIS standards. Business management positions in healthcare services can qualify when they require at minimum a bachelor's degree in a specific field like business administration, healthcare management, or a related discipline. Confirm with the recruiter whether the specific role you're targeting has been approved for sponsorship before advancing through interviews.
Which visa types does Quest Diagnostics commonly use for Business Manager roles?
Quest Diagnostics sponsors H-1B visas as the primary work authorization pathway for Business Manager roles, along with TN visas for Canadian and Mexican nationals in qualifying management categories. F-1 OPT and CPT are also used for early-career candidates transitioning from graduate programs in business or healthcare administration. For longer-term permanent residency, Quest supports EB-2 and EB-3 Green Card sponsorship for qualifying employees in this function.
What qualifications and experience does Quest Diagnostics expect for Business Manager roles?
Quest typically looks for candidates with a bachelor's degree in business, healthcare administration, or a related field, along with several years of experience managing P&L, contracts, or operational performance in a healthcare or diagnostics environment. Familiarity with laboratory services, diagnostics sales cycles, or clinical operations is a meaningful differentiator. Roles supporting specific diagnostic divisions may also require experience with healthcare compliance frameworks or payer contract management.
How do I apply for Business Manager jobs at Quest Diagnostics?
You can search and apply for Business Manager openings directly through Quest Diagnostics' careers portal. To filter specifically for roles that include visa sponsorship, browse open positions at Quest Diagnostics on Migrate Mate, which surfaces verified sponsorship-eligible listings so you can prioritize applications where your immigration status is a fit before investing time in the process.
How do I plan my timeline when pursuing sponsorship through Quest Diagnostics?
If you're on F-1 OPT, confirm your OPT expiration date against Quest's expected offer and start timeline. H-1B cap-subject filings must be submitted in April for an October 1 start, so offers extended outside that window may require bridging through a cap-exempt arrangement or OPT extension. For TN visa holders, transfers are more flexible since TN status doesn't require USCIS advance filing for most positions.
