Get Access To All JobsTips for Finding Sales Representative Jobs at Stryker Jobs
Tailor your resume to territory-based selling
Stryker's Sales Representative roles are organized by geographic territory and product division. Highlight experience managing accounts, hitting quotas, and working independently in the field rather than inside sales or marketing roles.
Target divisions that match your background
Stryker hires Sales Representatives across orthopedics, spine, neurovascular, and surgical equipment. Applying to the division closest to your clinical, science, or prior sales background increases the chance your petition clears the specialty occupation threshold at USCIS.
Verify your degree aligns with the role
H-1B approval for medical device sales requires demonstrating specialty occupation status. A degree in life sciences, biomedical engineering, or a clinical field strengthens your petition far more than a general business degree when USCIS evaluates your case.
Confirm sponsorship willingness before final interviews
Ask your Stryker recruiter directly whether the specific division and territory you're applying for supports visa sponsorship. Hiring decisions at Stryker are made at the divisional level, and sponsorship availability can vary between business units.
Browse open roles and filter by sponsorship on Migrate Mate
Stryker posts Sales Representative openings frequently across divisions and regions. Use Migrate Mate to find and filter Stryker roles verified for sponsorship, so you're applying only to positions where international candidates are actively considered.
Build your timeline around the H-1B cap and October start
If you need a cap-subject H-1B, registration opens in March and employment can begin October 1 at the earliest. Align your offer negotiation and start date with Stryker's recruiter so the filing window and onboarding timeline stay in sync.

Find Sales Representative at Stryker JobsFrequently Asked Questions
Does Stryker sponsor H-1B visas for Sales Representatives?
Yes, Stryker sponsors H-1B visas for Sales Representatives, though approval depends on the specific division and role. Because the H-1B requires demonstrating specialty occupation status, candidates with degrees in life sciences, biomedical engineering, or a clinical field are better positioned than those with general business backgrounds. Sponsorship decisions are made at the divisional level, so confirm early in the process with your recruiter.
Which visa types are commonly used for Sales Representative roles at Stryker?
H-1B is the most common pathway for Sales Representatives at Stryker, though the company also supports F-1 OPT and CPT for recent graduates, TN visas for Canadian and Mexican nationals in qualifying occupations, and J-1 for certain training arrangements. Candidates pursuing permanent residency may be sponsored through EB-2 or EB-3 after establishing tenure in the role.
What qualifications does Stryker expect for Sales Representative roles?
Stryker typically looks for candidates with a bachelor's degree in life sciences, kinesiology, biomedical engineering, or a related field for Sales Representative positions. Prior medical device or clinical sales experience is valued, and many roles require comfort working in operating room or clinical settings. Territory management experience and a demonstrated track record of hitting quotas significantly strengthen your application.
How do I apply for Sales Representative jobs at Stryker?
You can find open Sales Representative positions at Stryker through Migrate Mate, which surfaces roles verified for visa sponsorship so you're not wasting applications on positions that won't support international candidates. Apply directly to the division and territory that aligns with your background. After submitting, expect an initial recruiter screen followed by multiple rounds including a panel interview and often a field ride-along with a current rep.
How do I plan my timeline if I need Stryker to sponsor my visa?
If you're relying on a cap-subject H-1B, USCIS registration opens in March with an October 1 employment start at the earliest. F-1 OPT holders can begin working sooner if the offer and OPT dates align, with STEM OPT extension available for qualifying degrees. Start conversations with Stryker's recruiting team at least three to four months before your current work authorization expires to give the filing process enough runway.
