Align your credentials with Joint Commission standards
Trinity Health operates accredited facilities, so certifications like CBET or CHTM carry real weight in Service Tech hiring. Get your credentials verified and translated through a NACES-approved evaluator before you apply.
Target facilities undergoing capital expansion first
Trinity Health regularly opens or renovates facilities, which drives urgent Service Tech hiring. Focus applications on recently opened or expanding campuses where workforce gaps are active, not legacy sites with stable headcounts.
Confirm E-Verify enrollment before accepting an offer
Trinity Health participates in E-Verify as a large healthcare employer, which is a prerequisite for F-1 OPT STEM extension. Verify this directly with HR during the offer stage so your work authorization timeline doesn't get delayed after signing.
Use Migrate Mate to filter open Service Tech roles
Service Tech openings at Trinity Health are spread across dozens of regional ministries and hard to track manually. Use Migrate Mate to surface roles filtered by visa sponsorship eligibility so you're applying to positions where sponsorship is actively supported.
Request TN status documentation if you hold Canadian or Mexican citizenship
Service Tech roles covering biomedical or computer systems work can qualify under TN visa categories. Confirm the specific job title maps to an eligible USMCA occupation category before your offer letter is finalized, since the classification has to hold at the border.
Build your PERM timeline into your employment negotiation
If you're targeting permanent residence through an EB-2 or EB-3 pathway, PERM labor certification typically takes 12 to 18 months before USCIS even sees your petition. Raise the Green Card pathway conversation during offer negotiation, not after your first H-1B renewal.

Find Service Tech at Trinity Health JobsFrequently Asked Questions
Does Trinity Health sponsor H-1B visas for Service Techs?
Yes, Trinity Health has sponsored H-1B visas for Service Tech roles. As a large healthcare system operating across multiple states, Trinity Health works with immigration counsel to support nonimmigrant and immigrant petitions for technical staff. Your best approach is to confirm sponsorship availability for the specific role and location during the hiring process, since sponsorship decisions can vary by ministry and position.
Which visa types are commonly used for Service Tech roles at Trinity Health?
Trinity Health has supported H-1B, TN, J-1, and F-1 OPT and CPT statuses for technical roles, along with EB-2 and EB-3 immigrant visa pathways for longer-term sponsorship. F-1 OPT is common for recent graduates entering biomedical equipment or facilities tech roles. TN is an option for Canadian and Mexican nationals in qualifying technical occupations under USMCA.
How do I apply for Service Tech jobs at Trinity Health?
Applications go through Trinity Health's careers portal, where roles are listed by ministry and location. Filtering for Service Tech openings across their hospital and outpatient network is easier using Migrate Mate, which surfaces positions where visa sponsorship is supported. When applying, tailor your resume to the specific equipment or systems focus listed in the job description, since Service Tech scopes vary significantly across Trinity's facilities.
What qualifications are expected for Service Tech positions at Trinity Health?
Most Service Tech roles at Trinity Health require a relevant associate or bachelor's degree in biomedical technology, electrical engineering, or a related field, along with hands-on experience with medical equipment or building systems. Certifications such as CBET are viewed favorably. For international candidates, a credential evaluation from a NACES-approved body confirms your degree equivalency for both HR review and any future PERM labor certification filing.
How do I think about the visa timeline when targeting a Service Tech offer at Trinity Health?
If you're on F-1 OPT, you have a defined window to secure an H-1B petition before your work authorization lapses. H-1B cap-subject petitions must be filed by April 1 for an October 1 start, so your offer needs to be in place well before that deadline. If you're pursuing an EB-3 pathway, factor in that PERM labor certification alone can take over a year before USCIS adjudicates your I-140 petition.
