- Develop Strategy & Planning: Analyze key financial and market drivers to identify growth opportunities and build market-penetration and vertical-specific strategies — leveraging competitive insight, procurement knowledge, and regional opportunities — to drive adoption of Acuative's managed services.
- Build Client Relationships: Cultivate long-term client relationships to ensure retention, satisfaction, and trust. Position managed services as strategic, mission-critical solutions, clearly articulating business value, ROI, and long-term impact to senior stakeholders and decision-makers.

You will partner closely with our world-class Solution Architects, Pre-Sales Engineers, and Project Management Offices to design, pitch, and deploy tailored, high-uptime network solutions — including distributed architectures such as SD-WAN, cellular failover, and multi-site Wi-Fi — that meet the security, compliance, and uptime demands of your vertical.
What You Bring (Qualifications) :
Required — All Territories :
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in business, Management, Marketing, or a related field.
- Experience: 10–12 years of enterprise technology sales experience, with a proven history of meeting revenue targets.
- Deal Management: Proven track record managing full-cycle, multi-stakeholder enterprise deals through long, complex sales motions.
- Executive Presence: Transformational leadership skills with executive-level communication, presentation, and negotiation capabilities.
Required — Vertical-Specific (Hard Gate: 5+ Years) :
- Defense Industrial Base: 5+ years of documented success selling managed network or IT services directly into the defense sector or to major defense contractors, with an established, active network of DIB contacts and partnerships.
- Retail Managed Services: 5+ years of documented, recent success selling managed IT or network infrastructure services for large, multi-site retail organizations.
- Financial Services & Retail (Northeast): 5+ years of documented, recent success selling managed IT or network infrastructure services into insurance, banking, and/or retail organizations.
Preferred :
- Defense Industrial Base track: Prior military service or direct defense industry employment; an active Security Clearance (Secret or higher), or direct experience with IT architectures adhering to CMMC and NIST compliance regulations.
- Retail track: An active, referenceable network of C-level and VP-level decision-makers (CIOs, CTOs, VPs of Infrastructure) within major regional and national retail brands.
- Financial Services & Retail track: Strong familiarity with regulatory compliance frameworks governing financial and insurance data (e.g., PCI-DSS, SOC 2) as they relate to network infrastructure and security.
Compensation & Benefits :
- Competitive base salary plus an uncapped commission structure tied to net-new revenue and account growth.

Enterprise Sales Executive Jobs in Missouri: Frequently Asked Questions
How do you become a enterprise sales executive in Missouri?
Most enterprise sales executives in Missouri enter through a bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related discipline followed by several years in a quota-carrying B2B sales role. Missouri does not require a state-issued license for enterprise sales work. Employers in St. Louis and Kansas City typically promote from within, advancing strong account executives or regional sales managers who have closed large contracts and managed complex buying committees into enterprise-level roles.
How much do enterprise sales executives make in Missouri?
Enterprise sales executives in Missouri earn a median of about $79,440 a year, based on May 2025 Bureau of Labor Statistics wage data, ranging from around $47,570 for the lowest 10% to over $160,460 for the top 10%. Pay rises with experience, specialty, and employer.
Which companies hire enterprise sales executives in Missouri?
Companies currently hiring enterprise sales executives in Missouri include Bluebird Fiber, Paychex, and Abco Maintenance, per current listings on Migrate Mate as of September 2026. Missouri's concentration of technology integrators, healthcare IT firms, and logistics companies makes it a consistently active market for enterprise sales talent.
Which Missouri cities have the most enterprise sales executive jobs?
St. Louis, Columbia, and Kansas City have the most enterprise sales executive openings in Missouri. St. Louis leads due to its dense cluster of technology firms, financial services companies, and healthcare systems, while Kansas City's strength in logistics, insurance, and SaaS drives steady demand, and Springfield draws openings from regional healthcare and distribution employers anchored there.
Are there remote enterprise sales executive jobs in Missouri?
Yes, and more than most fields. About 50% of enterprise sales executive openings tied to Missouri are remote or hybrid as of September 2026, reflecting the desk-based and relationship-driven nature of the role. Strategic account management and SaaS sales positions are the most commonly offered as fully remote, though roles requiring on-site client visits in manufacturing or healthcare tend to stay hybrid.
How can I get hired as a enterprise sales executive in Missouri with little or no experience?
The most realistic entry path is starting as a sales development representative or account executive at a Missouri technology or logistics company and building a record of quota attainment before moving up. Companies like World Wide Technology and Oracle Health in St. Louis run structured sales development programs that prepare candidates for enterprise roles. Earning a Salesforce certification or a Challenger Sale credential strengthens your profile and signals readiness for complex deals even without years of direct enterprise experience.
