Territory Account Manager Jobs in Missouri: Frequently Asked Questions
How do you become a territory account manager in Missouri?
Most territory account manager roles in Missouri require a bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a field aligned with the industry you want to sell into, such as life sciences or engineering. Missouri does not issue a state license specific to this role, so hiring decisions center on sales experience, industry knowledge, and a verifiable record of meeting quotas. Many candidates enter through inside sales, customer success, or business development associate roles at Missouri-based companies before moving into a territory position.
How much do territory account managers make in Missouri?
Territory account managers in Missouri earn a median of about $61,940 a year, based on May 2025 Bureau of Labor Statistics wage data, ranging from around $35,110 for the lowest 10% to over $125,280 for the top 10%. Pay rises with experience, specialty, and employer.
Which companies hire territory account managers in Missouri?
Companies currently hiring territory account managers in Missouri include Essent Guaranty, Hall's Culligan Water, and Sentry, per current listings on Migrate Mate as of November 2026. Missouri's concentration of healthcare systems, agricultural businesses, and industrial manufacturers means territory roles here skew heavily toward those three sectors.
Which Missouri cities have the most territory account manager jobs?
St. Louis, Kansas City, and Missouri account for the largest share of territory account manager openings in Missouri. St. Louis and Kansas City drive volume through their dense clusters of healthcare networks, technology firms, and distribution centers, while Springfield's agricultural and manufacturing base sustains steady demand for territory roles in those industries.
Are there remote territory account manager jobs in Missouri?
Yes, but they're less common than in purely desk-based fields, because territory account management typically requires in-person client visits within an assigned geography. About 67% of territory account manager openings tied to Missouri are remote or hybrid as of November 2026, and those tend to be inside-territory or overlay roles where prospect outreach and account reviews happen by video rather than on-site.
How can I get hired as a territory account manager in Missouri with little or no experience?
The most realistic entry path is through an inside sales or sales development representative role at a Missouri employer, where you build pipeline skills before taking on a geographic territory. Large Missouri-based companies in healthcare technology and industrial distribution commonly run sales associate or sales rotation programs that feed into territory roles. Earning an industry-relevant credential, such as a medical sales certificate for life sciences roles, gives candidates without direct territory experience a competitive edge when applying.
Where can I find and apply to territory account manager jobs in Missouri?
You can find and apply to territory account manager jobs in Missouri on Migrate Mate, which lists current Missouri openings across industries including healthcare, manufacturing, and technology. Find the roles that fit your experience and geography, then apply directly through each listing.
