About the Position

Montgomery County Pride Family (MoCo Pride Center) is seeking a detail-oriented, organized, and experienced Finance & Human Resources Manager to support our growing LGBTQIA+ community organization.

The Finance & Human Resources Manager is responsible for the day-to-day management of the organization's finance and human resources functions. This is a hands-on management position designed for a professional who enjoys owning important systems from beginning to end, maintaining accurate records, keeping deadlines on track, and proactively supporting organizational growth.

The successful candidate will work closely with the CEO, Director of Operations, Program Directors, employees, external accountants and auditors, benefits and payroll providers, funders, vendors, and professional advisors.

Key Responsibilities

Finance & Accounting

- Manage day-to-day financial operations and accounting processes.

- Maintain accurate financial records and support budgeting activities.

- Coordinate with external accountants and auditors.

- Monitor financial deadlines, payments, and documentation.

Human Resources

- Oversee HR administration, employee records, and onboarding processes.

- Support employee relations and personnel-related operations.

- Maintain confidential employee information and HR documentation.

- Help ensure compliance with applicable employment policies and requirements.

Grants Management

- Track grant-related financial records and expenditures.

- Support grant budgets, financial reporting, and documentation.

- Coordinate with program staff to monitor grant-related financial requirements.

Payroll & Benefits

- Coordinate payroll processing and employee benefits administration.

- Maintain accurate payroll and benefits records.

- Work with external payroll and benefits providers.

Financial Reporting

- Prepare and maintain financial reports for organizational leadership.

- Support budget monitoring and financial planning.

- Assist with financial information needed for audits and organizational reporting.

Policies & Compliance

- Maintain finance and HR policies, procedures, and records.

- Support compliance with applicable organizational and regulatory requirements.

- Identify opportunities to improve internal processes and administrative systems.

## Qualifications

- Experience in nonprofit finance and human resources or related fields.

- Strong knowledge of accounting, financial reporting, HR administration, and compliance.

- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

- Strong communication and problem-solving skills.

- Experience with payroll, employee benefits, and grant financial management.

- Sound judgment and discretion when handling confidential information.

- Relevant bachelor's degree preferred but not required with substantial experience.

Compensation

Annual Salary: $80,000–$90,000

This is a full-time, exempt position with a hybrid work arrangement and regular in-person responsibilities in Bethesda, Maryland.
