About the Role
This is PointFive's first growth hire, and you'll own the demand engine end to end—from paid and lifecycle marketing to outbound orchestration and pipeline reporting. You'll report directly to the CRO with real latitude to decide what to run, what to kill, and where the next dollar goes, collaborating with colleagues across the globe as well as contractors and paid media agencies that you'll manage day to day.
What You'll Do
Own paid media. Run Google, LinkedIn, Reddit, and any other channel you’re interested in testing —strategy, budget allocation, creative direction, and results.
Build email and lifecycle marketing
Run integrated campaigns and field events across paid, email, and outbound, owning the pre- and post-event motion
Orchestrate outbound with sales, aligning targeting, sequences, signals, and content so outbound and marketing pull in the same direction.
Own pipeline measurement and reporting, building it yourself across HubSpot, Salesforce, Snowflake, Google Analytics, and Common Room to show what's actually creating pipeline.
Improve the website and conversion path, from traffic to conversion rate to the path from first visit to qualified meeting.
What We're Looking For
Must-have
5+ years in B2B growth or demand generation; bachelor's degree.
Hands-on-keyboard experience building campaigns, pulling data, and shipping work yourself—this isn't a role that manages a team into results.
Comfort working technically and operationally in HubSpot, Salesforce, and ad platforms, with the ability to work with data directly; SQL or Snowflake experience is a real advantage.
A curious, fast working style—testing, reading data honestly, and changing course without being told to.
High work ethic and high ownership; this is a small team with a big surface area and no passengers.
Nice to have
Experience marketing technical products to technical personas, especially engineering or platform teams
Familiarity with both PLG and sales-led GTM models
FinOps, cloud infrastructure, or developer tools background
Compensation & Benefits
Base Salary Range: $185,000 - $210,000 USD annually.
Health, dental, vision (yes, all three!), equity in something early-stage and exciting, generous PTO, 401K, meal & commuter benefits, a team that will actually challenge you and much more
Why PointFive
Build a function, not inherit one. You'll report to the CRO, sit close to revenue, and see the direct line between what you run and what closes.
Real latitude from day one. You decide what to run, what to kill, and where the next dollar goes, backed by contractors and an agency you manage.
A proving ground for your next step. If your goal is to run marketing as a VP or CMO, this is the job where you show you can.
Equal Opportunity Statement
PointFive is proud to be an equal opportunity employer. We celebrate diversity and are committed to creating an inclusive environment for all employees. We welcome candidates from all backgrounds, experiences, and perspectives to apply.

Growth Marketing Director Jobs in Massachusetts: Frequently Asked Questions
How do you become a growth marketing director in Massachusetts?
Growth marketing director is not a licensed profession in Massachusetts, so there is no state-issued credential required. Most directors in the state hold a bachelor's degree in marketing, business, or a related field, and many hold an MBA. The typical path moves from specialist or manager roles in demand generation, product marketing, or digital marketing into a director title, often within Boston's technology or life sciences sectors where the role is most established.
How much do growth marketing directors make in Massachusetts?
Growth marketing directors in Massachusetts earn a median of about $212,020 a year, based on May 2025 Bureau of Labor Statistics wage data, ranging from around $122,350 for the lowest 10% to over $310,510 for the top 10%. Pay rises with experience, specialty, and employer.
Which companies hire growth marketing directors in Massachusetts?
Employers hiring growth marketing directors in Massachusetts right now include Whoop, ALKU, and Bevi, based on current listings on Migrate Mate as of September 2026. Massachusetts's dense concentration of technology, health technology, and financial services companies means director-level growth marketing roles appear regularly across both established public companies and well-funded private ones headquartered in the greater Boston area.
Which Massachusetts cities have the most growth marketing director jobs?
Boston, Andover, and Beverly have the most growth marketing director openings in Massachusetts. Boston and Cambridge anchor the market because of the region's concentration of venture-backed software, health technology, and financial services companies, while Waltham draws roles from the suburban Route 128 technology corridor, where mid-market and enterprise software firms with substantial marketing teams are headquartered.
Are there remote growth marketing director jobs in Massachusetts?
Yes, and more than most fields. Growth marketing is a highly analytical, strategy-oriented role that translates well to remote and hybrid arrangements. About 73% of growth marketing director openings tied to Massachusetts are remote or hybrid as of September 2026, reflecting how broadly Massachusetts employers have adopted flexible work for senior marketing leaders. Campaign analysis, roadmap planning, and cross-functional collaboration are the parts of the role most consistently performed remotely.
How can I get hired as a growth marketing director in Massachusetts with little or no experience?
The most realistic entry path is moving into a growth-focused manager or senior manager role before pursuing director titles. Large Massachusetts employers in technology and life sciences, including companies based in the Boston and Waltham corridors, regularly hire growth marketing managers who build toward director responsibility over two to three years. Transitioning from adjacent roles such as demand generation manager, lifecycle marketing manager, or product marketing manager is a common pattern. Building a portfolio of measurable campaign results and earning a certification in marketing analytics or a relevant platform gives candidates a clear edge.
Where can I find and apply to growth marketing director jobs in Massachusetts?
