Job Overview
We are seeking an energetic and passionate Hospitality Assistant Manager to work with our leadership team for our food and beverage operations at Jiminy Peak Resort in Hancock, MA.

In this dynamic role, you will help oversee all aspects of restaurant management, culinary excellence, and guest experience. You will help drive the F & B operations, ensure exceptional service standards, and maintain efficient kitchen and front-of-house operations. This position offers an exciting opportunity for a motivated professional to lead a team in delivering memorable dining experiences while managing day-to-day business functions.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise restaurant and concessions staff in multiple outlets, fostering a positive team environment focused on excellence in hospitality and culinary quality
• Oversee food preparation, cooking, presentation, and food safety standards to ensure consistent quality across all menu items
• Manage inventory control, including stock rotation, and waste reduction to optimize food costs and minimize shortages
• Utilize POS system for order processing, sales tracking, and cash handling with accuracy and integrity
• Help with staff training programs in food handling, customer service, safety protocols, and operational procedures to enhance team skills and performance
• Coordinate shift management with Ukg software for scheduling, ensuring smooth operations during busy hours while maintaining high service standards

Requirements

• 5+ years of restaurant or Quick serve related food and beverage industry experience.
• Supervisory Experience: At least 1 to 3+ years in a supervisory, assistant manager, or department head role.
• Prior background handling high-volume peak periods (holidays, weekends, weather-dependent rushes) and managing large seasonal or multi-outlet workforces.
• Proven experience in food service management within quick service & fast casual food restaurants or casual dining environments as well as experience in catering event management both front and back of house
• Strong culinary background with expertise in food preparation, cooking techniques, and kitchen management
• Demonstrated supervisory experience with skills in team management, training & development
• Knowledge of food safety regulations, inventory control practices, and food production processes
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to handle guest concerns professionally and promptly
• Leadership qualities that inspire teamwork, accountability, and continuous improvement in a fast-paced setting
• Experience managing budgets, controlling costs, and implementing operational improvements within the food industry
• Responsibilities may also include other administrative tasks like; scheduling, safety walks, product receiving, equipment preventative maintenance, help with product ordering and other administrative tasks as needed

Pay: $66,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
