Responsibilities
- Assist in managing daily hotel operations, including inventory control, and guest management
- Lead and supervise hotel staff, providing training, coaching, and performance feedback to ensure team success
- Oversee employee orientation, interviewing, recruiting, and onboarding processes to build a strong team
- Handle POS system management, and payroll processing with accuracy and integrity
- Maintain excellent customer service standards by addressing customer inquiries, resolving issues promptly, and ensuring a positive experience
- Support purchasing decisions, pricing strategies, and inventory management to optimize stock levels and hotel performance
- Manage shift schedules, organize workflow, and ensure operational procedures are followed efficiently
Experience
- Proven supervisory or assistant manager experience within the hospitality industry
- Strong knowledge of hotel management, inventory control, POS systems, and credit card handling procedures
- Demonstrated skills in negotiation, team management, training & development, and managerial communication
- Experience with recruiting, employee orientation, interviewing, and payroll processing is highly desirable
- Multilingual or bilingual abilities are a plus for effective communication with diverse teams and customers
- Familiarity with basic math skills related to pricing, sales tracking, budgeting—and operational management is essential
- Previous experience in hospitality knowledge, merchandising, stocking procedures, and hotel operations
