Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced, hands-on General Manager to lead a 129-room extended-stay hotel in Salem, Oregon. The property is converting to a Choice Hotels extended-stay brand, and we’re looking for a leader who takes ownership of operations, team, and performance.
Responsibilities
- Oversee daily operations, including Front Desk, Housekeeping, and Maintenance.
- Hire, train, schedule, and evaluate staff to deliver excellent guest service.
- Resolve guest issues related to services, amenities, and policies.
- Collect daily deposits and maintain records of revenue, budgets, and expenses.
- Monitor occupancy, ADR, RevPAR, and labor costs.
- Coordinate with suppliers, contractors, and the payroll company.
- Maintain Choice brand standards, support the brand conversion, and prepare for QA inspections.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
Qualifications
- 3–5 years of hotel management experience.
- Experience with Choice Hotels brands, systems, and standards required.
- Extended-stay experience.
- Strong leadership, communication, and customer service skills with great attention to detail.
Pay: $60,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
