This is a STANDING/WALKING post which requires you to be on your feet while on-duty. Officers must feel comfortable standing for prolonged periods of time. As a retail security officer, you will be held to above-quality standards as a server of our surrounding communities. As a retail security officer, you must maintain a commanding presence and high-quality customer service skills. You must also have the ability to handle crisis situations at the client site calmly, effectively, and efficiently.
As a retail security officer with our company, you will be responsible for initiating and completing daily reports. As a talented team member, you will command a high-standing presence when posted at our sites.
Some of the other duties include but are not limited to:
- Command a presence
- Enforce Contract Standards
- Enforce employment guidelines
- Monitor and patrol assigned areas to deter theft
- Communicate constantly with the manager on duty regarding any suspicious activity
- Implement loss prevention strategies and procedures to minimize risk
- Monitor and respond to alarms to detect potential theft
- Provide excellent customer service by assisting customers with inquiries or concerns.
- Administers site safety programs outlining site-specific hazards adhering to post orders

- MUST BE ABLE TO STAND/WALK FOR DURATION OF SHIFT
- MUST BE ABLE TO PASS GOVERNMENT BACKGROUND CHECK
- MUST HAVE FLEXIBLE AVAILABILITY
- WEEKENDS ARE REQUIRED (SATURDAY, SUNDAY OR BOTH)
- MUST BE PROFESSIONAL AND WELL GROOMED
- MUST HAVE IMPECCABLE CUSTOMER SERVICE SKILLS
- MUST HAVE RELIABLE TRANSPORTATION
- MUST HAVE STRONG VERBAL AND WRITTEN COMMUNICATION
- MUST WRITE AND SPEAK FLUENT ENGLISH
