Marketing Intern Jobs in Colorado: Frequently Asked Questions
How do you become a marketing intern in Colorado?
Marketing internships in Colorado require no state-issued license or certification. Most positions expect current enrollment in or recent completion of a bachelor's program in marketing, communications, advertising, or a related business field at a Colorado university such as CU Boulder, Colorado State, or the University of Denver. A portfolio showing content, social media, or campaign work is increasingly expected even for entry-level roles, and Colorado employers in tech and outdoor brands often prioritize project-based experience over GPA.
Which companies hire marketing interns in Colorado?
Companies currently hiring marketing interns in Colorado include Sodexo, Amerita, and Continental, per current listings on Migrate Mate as of July 2026. Colorado's concentration of outdoor recreation brands, health tech companies, and digital agencies in the Denver-Boulder corridor means marketing intern demand is spread across both large corporations and mid-size growth-stage businesses.
Which Colorado cities have the most marketing intern jobs?
Denver, Lakewood, and Englewood lead Colorado for marketing intern openings. Denver dominates due to its density of corporate headquarters, agencies, and health tech firms, while Boulder draws intern hiring from outdoor, natural products, and software companies, and Colorado Springs supports marketing roles tied to defense contractors, healthcare systems, and growing consumer brands in the region.
Are there remote marketing intern jobs in Colorado?
Yes, and more than most fields. About 100% of marketing intern openings tied to Colorado are remote or hybrid as of July 2026, reflecting the desk-based and digital nature of most marketing intern tasks. Content creation, social media scheduling, email marketing, and analytics work are the sub-areas most commonly offered in fully remote or flexible arrangements by Colorado employers.
How can I get hired as a marketing intern in Colorado with little or no experience?
The most realistic entry path is applying to structured internship programs at large Colorado employers before building an independent portfolio. Companies like Dish Network, Ball Corporation, and Colorado-based health systems run formal summer and semester intern cohorts designed for students with little professional history. Campus organizations at CU Boulder and Colorado State offer marketing project roles that translate directly to resume experience. Completing a Google Analytics or HubSpot certification before applying gives candidates a concrete, verifiable credential that compensates for limited work history.
Where can I find and apply to marketing intern jobs in Colorado?
You can find and apply to marketing intern jobs in Colorado on Migrate Mate, which lists current openings tied to the state. Search the listings to find roles that fit your background, schedule, and preferred location within Colorado, then apply directly to the ones that match.
