This role plays a key part in the new hire experience, assisting with onboarding from offer to first day, while handling day-to-day HR administration and serving as a go-to resource for employee questions.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Serve as the day-to-day HR contact for employees, responding to general policy questions and basic employee inquiries
- Coordinate onboarding for new hires from offer through first day, ensuring a welcoming and organized start
- Prepare orientation packets and welcome communications
- Review onboarding paperwork to ensure completion and timeliness
- Support Talent Acquisition by scheduling interviews and coordinating with managers
- Enter employee changes in the HRIS system and maintain accurate employee files
- Generate routine reports for headcount and benefits participation
- Perform additional administrative tasks and support as assigned
Experience and Skills:
- 1 to 3 years of office or HR administrative experience; hospitality background a plus
- Experience with Paylocity or a similar HRIS platform
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Exceptional attention to detail, organization, and ability to prioritize
- Strong customer service and professional communication skills
- Discretion in handling confidential information
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Reliable transportation for travel between properties
Job Benefits:
Compensation: The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $25.00 per hour, commensurate with experience and the ability to effectively support multiple properties.
