Product Marketing Jobs in Florida: Frequently Asked Questions
How do you become a product marketing in Florida?
Product marketing in Florida requires no state-issued license or exam, so the path runs through education and experience. Most employers expect a bachelor's degree in marketing, business, or communications. From there, candidates typically move into product marketing from adjacent roles such as marketing coordinator, brand manager, or sales enablement. Building a portfolio of launch plans, positioning documents, or go-to-market strategies strengthens any application significantly.
How much do product marketings make in Florida?
Product marketings in Florida earn a median of about $142,620 a year, based on May 2025 Bureau of Labor Statistics wage data, ranging from around $78,250 for the lowest 10% to over $261,310 for the top 10%. Pay rises with experience, specialty, and employer.
Which companies hire product marketings in Florida?
Employers hiring product marketings in Florida right now include Royal Caribbean, BNY, and Chewy, based on current listings on Migrate Mate as of September 2026. Florida's concentration of technology companies, regional healthcare systems, and large consumer brands means product marketing openings appear across a wide range of industries throughout the state.
Which Florida cities have the most product marketing jobs?
Miami, Tampa, and Fort Lauderdale are the Florida cities with the most product marketing openings. Miami draws heavily from its financial services and tech startup ecosystem, Tampa is home to several large corporate headquarters and growing SaaS companies, and Orlando's mix of hospitality, healthcare, and simulation technology companies creates steady demand for product marketers at multiple levels.
Are there remote product marketing jobs in Florida?
Yes, and more than most fields. Product marketing is a desk-based, strategy-driven role that translates well to remote and hybrid arrangements. About 82% of product marketing openings tied to Florida are remote or hybrid as of September 2026, reflecting how widely distributed the talent pool has become. Roles focused on content development, competitive research, and go-to-market planning tend to be the most consistently offered on a remote basis.
How can I get hired as a product marketing in Florida with little or no experience?
The most realistic entry path is moving into product marketing from a related role such as marketing coordinator, content strategist, or sales enablement associate. Florida-based technology companies in Tampa and Miami, along with large employers like AdventHealth and Darden Restaurants, regularly hire into associate or junior product marketing roles. Building a portfolio with sample positioning briefs, competitive teardowns, or mock launch plans gives candidates without direct experience a clear edge in the hiring process.
