ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
DLR Group's Northwest Region has an opening for an experienced Project Administrator. This role could be based in the following cities:
- Seattle, WA
As a Project Administrator at DLR Group, you'll play a crucial role in supporting our projects during the construction phase. You will ensure the smooth execution of standard documentation workflows, organization, and communication tasks essential for the effective functioning of our project teams. The ideal candidate would have experience in the AEC industry.
What you will do:
- Confirm and manage construction phase contractual responsibilities
- Coordinate with the construction phase team, including workflows, meetings, and communication
- Develop and maintain relationships with key team members and serve as the primary point of contact for documentation and workflows
- Establish and maintain tracking and logging for construction documentation workflows
- Manage pay applications, ensuring compliance with DLR Group's risk management standards and processing approvals
- Handle submittals, RFIs, and cost documentation, ensuring timely and accurate processing
- Assist with field reports, punch lists, and closeout procedures
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 3 years of professional experience in project administration within the AEC (Architecture, Engineering, and Construction) industry
- Knowledge of A/E construction phase processes and contractual responsibilities
- Proficiency in task organization, completion tracking, and prioritization
- Excellent written and spoken communication skills
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience with Microsoft Suite, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Familiarity with Microsoft Project, Bluebeam, Vantagepoint, Newforma, Procore, and AIA Contract Document software
