Location: Bridgeport, CT (On-Site)
GS Woodworking is a growing custom cabinetry and architectural millwork company serving high-end residential projects throughout Connecticut, New York City, Westchester, Long Island, the Hamptons, and New Jersey.
We are seeking an organized, proactive, and client-focused professional to support our estimating and sales operations. This role is responsible for proposal coordination, client follow-up, opportunity tracking, and helping drive company growth. The ideal candidate enjoys building relationships, staying organized, and supporting a fast-paced business environment.
Responsibilities
- Receive and organize estimate requests.
- Review project information, drawings, and specifications.
- Coordinate the preparation and delivery of proposals.
- Track estimates and maintain proposal records.
- Follow up with clients regarding open proposals and opportunities.
- Respond to client inquiries and maintain professional communication.
- Manage sales opportunity tracking and pipeline updates.
- Ensure timely follow-up and proper documentation of all opportunities.
- Support business development and customer retention efforts.
- Help improve estimating and sales processes.
Qualifications
Required
- Fluent English (written and verbal).
- Portuguese and/or Spanish language skills preferred.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in Estimating, Sales Coordination, Project Coordination, Customer Service, Operations, or a related field.
- Experience working directly with clients, vendors, architects, designers, contractors, or project stakeholders.
- Strong organizational and follow-up skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word).
- Professional, proactive, and customer-focused attitude.
Preferred
- Experience in millwork, cabinetry, construction, manufacturing, architecture, interior design, or related industries.
- Experience with CRM or project management software.
