Test Operations Support Analyst
Position Description & Qualifications
We’re seeking a dynamic and experienced Test Operations Support Analyst to join Serco’s Amphibious Ship Section supporting Test and Evaluation (T&E). This is an excellent opportunity for high performing individual to join a team of T&E professionals evaluating and managing the contracts to design, construct, test, and deliver new amphibious ships. Our government support team for this specific opportunity is led by a Program Manager and Deputy Program Manger having decades of experience working within the Department of Defense and the Shipbuilding and Repair Industry.
This government support team falls within our high-performing Naval Acquisition and Sustainment Operation (NASO) which provides critical services to nearly all U.S. Navy surface ships and craft and is achieving truly impactful outcomes. NASO is part of Serco's Maritime Engineering, Technology and Sustainment (METS) business unit. Serco has over 10,000 people in North America, with operations across the U.S. and Canada. In this role, you will:
- Track the execution of T&E funding
- Manage task planning sheets (TPS)
- Develop out-year business plans
- Work with T&E engineers in the evaluation of new amphibious ship’s performance
- Work closely with Government and industry T&E professionals, Naval Warfare Centers, shipbuilders, and Participating Acquisition Resource Managers (PARMs) to ensure testing requirements and activities are accurately funded
To be successful in this roll, you will have:
- Successfully completed a Bachelor’s degree from accredited college or university, preferably in accounting, finance or business management . Military or DoD experience can be substituted for a degree if five (5) or more years of specific work experience can be demonstrated in an analogous or higher-level position.
- A minimum of 6 years of relevant business management experience.
- A current DoD security clearance or be able to obtain an interim clearance after hire. A condition of employment is based on your ability to obtain and maintain your clearance.
- The ability to operate personal computers and have good knowledge and operational abilities with Microsoft Office tools.
- The ability to work in an office environment.
- The ability to create briefs and documents as needed. Candidate is responsible for monthly business reports and routinely coordinates with testing authorities and warfare centers to ensure TPS are funded.
- The ability to manage a large ACAT 1C program’s division in Navy Enterprise Planning System (NEPS).
Additional desired experience and skills:
- Understanding of the Program Objective Memorandum (POM) Cycles
- Experience supporting a Navy Program Business Financial Manager (BFM).
- Ability to operate POWER BI
- Proficiency in the analytical review of T&E data and knowledge of U.S. Navy Amphibious Warfare Programs is highly desirable.
- DoD/Navy ACAT I Program experience is desired
