Which consulting companies sponsor E-3 visas in Tennessee?
The Big Four accounting and consulting firms, Deloitte, PwC, EY, and KPMG, all have Tennessee offices and established E-3 sponsorship processes. Mid-size firms like Huron Consulting and West Monroe also operate in the state. Healthcare-focused consultancies are particularly active given Tennessee's large managed care and hospital system employer base, including firms serving BlueCross BlueShield of Tennessee and HCA Healthcare.
Which cities in Tennessee have the most consulting E-3 sponsorship jobs?
Nashville accounts for the majority of consulting E-3 roles in Tennessee, driven by its concentration of healthcare corporations, financial institutions, and professional services firms. Memphis offers a secondary market with consulting demand tied to logistics, supply chain, and regional banking clients. Smaller markets like Knoxville and Chattanooga have limited consulting presence and fewer firms with established E-3 sponsorship infrastructure.
What types of consulting roles typically qualify for E-3 sponsorship?
Roles that qualify as specialty occupations under the E-3 typically include management consultant, strategy analyst, financial consultant, technology consultant, and healthcare advisory roles requiring a relevant bachelor's degree or higher. Positions where the employer can demonstrate that a specific degree field, such as finance, business, engineering, or information systems, is a minimum requirement for the role are strongest candidates for E-3 sponsorship in Tennessee.
How do I find consulting E-3 sponsorship jobs in Tennessee?
Migrate Mate is built specifically for Australian professionals seeking E-3 sponsorship roles and filters listings by visa type, state, and industry. For consulting E-3 jobs in Tennessee, you can search by state and filter to consulting and professional services to surface employers with active sponsorship history. This removes the guesswork of identifying which Tennessee firms are willing to sponsor, which is often the hardest part of the search.
Are there any Tennessee-specific considerations for consulting E-3 sponsorship?
Tennessee has no state income tax on wages, which affects total compensation comparisons but does not change E-3 eligibility or the sponsorship process itself. One practical consideration is that many mid-market consulting clients in Tennessee are in regulated industries like healthcare and banking, so relevant sector experience can strengthen both your candidacy and the specialty occupation case your employer makes when filing the Labor Condition Application.
What is the prevailing wage for E-3 consulting jobs in Tennessee?
U.S. employers sponsoring a visa must pay at least the prevailing wage, which is what workers in the same role, area, and experience level typically earn. The Department of Labor sets this rate to make sure companies aren't hiring foreign workers simply because they'd accept lower pay than a U.S. worker. It varies by job title, location, and experience. You can look up current prevailing wage rates for any occupation and location using the OFLC Wage Search page.
