Supports the library’s policies, procedures, and goals by providing professional library services. Provides information services, reader’s advisory and assistance to the public in the use of library services and facilities. Supports and assists in departmental and/or system-wide training of staff, volunteers, and the public. Maintains awareness of current adult and young adult services, activities, and programs. Oversees, coordinates, and serves as resource person for the development and maintenance of special projects, services, and programs for the department and/or system. Participates in developing the library agency’s goals and objectives. Pushes fully loaded carts and shelves books, as needed.
