INTRODUCTION
We are seeking an experienced HVAC Technician to support in-house production and testing of HVAC units, with a primary focus on factory acceptance testing in our West Jordan manufacturing location and occasional field service support when needed. This role combines hands-on equipment testing, troubleshooting, and technical validation with site travel for startup and service assistance. This position includes required travel to clients’ onsite facilities for project support.
SHIFT
Shift: 7:00 am to 3:30 pm Monday - Friday, including travel as needed.
Responsibilities
- Perform factory acceptance testing on HVAC units.
- Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and controls issues.
- Follow test procedures and document results.
- Read schematics and technical drawings.
- Support quality checks and startup verification.
- Provide occasional field service and diagnostics at job sites.
- Coordinate with engineering and production teams.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- EPA 608 Certification.
- HVAC technician experience.
- Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills.
- Ability to read schematics and technical documents.
PREFERRED
- NATE certification.
- Commissioning or startup experience.
- Controls knowledge.
- OSHA training.
