Account Associate Jobs in Georgia: Frequently Asked Questions
How do you become a account associate in Georgia?
Most account associate roles in Georgia require a bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field from an accredited Georgia institution such as the University of Georgia, Georgia State University, or Georgia Tech. No state-issued license is required for the role itself. Employers typically look for demonstrated client communication skills, CRM experience, and some exposure to the industry vertical, whether that is insurance, financial services, or technology.
Which companies hire account associates in Georgia?
Companies currently hiring account associates in Georgia include State Farm, Marsh, and metropolis, per current listings on Migrate Mate as of September 2026. Georgia's dense concentration of insurance carriers, fintech firms, and logistics companies means account associate demand stays consistent throughout the year.
Which Georgia cities have the most account associate jobs?
Atlanta, Perry, and Jasper have the most account associate openings in Georgia. Atlanta drives the majority of volume as the state's corporate headquarters hub for insurance, financial services, and technology firms, while Savannah's port-driven logistics sector and Augusta's healthcare and government contracting base support steady demand in those metros.
Are there remote account associate jobs in Georgia?
Yes, and they are reasonably common for this role. About 100% of account associate openings tied to Georgia are remote or hybrid as of September 2026, reflecting how much of the work involves email, phone, and CRM platforms rather than on-site presence. Client-strategy and renewals work tends to be the most remote-friendly portion of the role.
How can I get hired as a account associate in Georgia with little or no experience?
The most realistic entry path is a sales development representative or customer success coordinator role at a mid-size Georgia employer, which builds the client communication and CRM skills account associates use daily. Large Georgia insurers like Aflac and Unum run structured new-grad cohorts, and Atlanta-area staffing firms regularly place candidates in associate-level contract roles that convert to full-time. A completed internship, a Salesforce administrator certification, or demonstrated retention metrics from any client-facing job can make a candidate competitive without a traditional account management background.
Where can I find and apply to account associate jobs in Georgia?
You can find and apply to account associate jobs in Georgia on Migrate Mate, which lists current Georgia openings updated in real time. Search the listings, find the roles that match your experience and location, and apply directly to the ones that fit.
