Account Associate Jobs in Wisconsin: Frequently Asked Questions
How do you become a account associate in Wisconsin?
Most Wisconsin employers require a bachelor's degree in business, marketing, finance, or a closely related field as the foundation for this role. No state-issued license is required to work as an account associate in Wisconsin, though roles in insurance account servicing may require a Wisconsin Property and Casualty or Life and Health insurance producer license issued through the Wisconsin Office of the Commissioner of Insurance. Building experience in customer service or inside sales is a common entry path.
Which companies hire account associates in Wisconsin?
Wisconsin account associate roles are posted by State Farm, Taylor Strategy Partners, and Amcor and others right now, based on current listings on Migrate Mate as of September 2026. Wisconsin's strong insurance and financial services sector means a large share of openings come from carriers, brokerages, and financial technology firms headquartered or operating in the state.
Which Wisconsin cities have the most account associate jobs?
Madison, Wausau, and Oshkosh have the most account associate openings in Wisconsin. Milwaukee leads because of its dense concentration of financial services, insurance, and corporate headquarters, while Madison's mix of technology companies and state government contractors drives consistent demand, and Green Bay's manufacturing and regional business base supports a steady volume of commercial account roles.
Are there remote account associate jobs in Wisconsin?
Yes, and they are more common than in many fields, since account associate work is largely desk-based and client communication can happen by phone, email, and video. About 100% of account associate openings tied to Wisconsin are remote or hybrid as of September 2026, reflecting how well this role adapts to distributed work. Client onboarding, reporting, and relationship maintenance are the tasks most frequently performed remotely.
How can I get hired as a account associate in Wisconsin with little or no experience?
The most realistic entry path is applying to associate or junior account coordinator roles at Wisconsin-based insurance carriers and financial services firms, where structured onboarding programs are common. Northwestern Mutual and American Family Insurance both run new-associate development programs that accept candidates without prior account management experience. Moving into the role from customer service, inside sales, or administrative support at the same employer is also a well-established path. Obtaining a Wisconsin insurance producer license before applying gives candidates a concrete edge for roles in that sector.
Where can I find and apply to account associate jobs in Wisconsin?
You can find and apply to account associate jobs in Wisconsin on Migrate Mate, which lists current Wisconsin openings across industries and hiring regions. Search the available roles, find the ones that fit your background and preferred location, and apply directly to the employer.
