Business Development & Sales Specialist – Exterior Services
Are you a driven sales professional with experience in commercial landscaping, snow management, or exterior services? Join a growing team where you'll have the opportunity to build relationships, win new business, and make a direct impact on company growth. As our Business Development & Sales Specialist, you will be responsible for identifying, developing, and securing new commercial landscaping, snow removal, and exterior maintenance contracts. You'll work with property managers, facility leaders, developers, and other decision-makers to deliver solutions that enhance and maintain commercial properties.
- Prospect, qualify, and develop new commercial business opportunities
- Build relationships with property managers, facility executives, developers, and other key stakeholders
- Conduct site visits and needs assessments to understand client goals and service requirements
- Prepare and present customized proposals and service solutions
- Lead sales negotiations and close new business opportunities
- Maintain an active sales pipeline and consistently achieve growth targets
- Represent the company at industry events, trade associations, and networking opportunities
- Collaborate with operations and estimating teams to ensure a seamless client experience
What We're Looking For
- 3+ years of business development or sales experience, preferably within commercial landscaping, snow management, property services, or a related industry
- Proven success generating new business and closing commercial service contracts
- Strong relationship-building, communication, and negotiation skills
- Ability to manage multiple opportunities and work independently in a results-driven environment
- Experience using CRM platforms and sales prospecting tools is a plus
