Tailor your resume for staffing pipelines
Jobot places Senior Project Managers with client companies, so your resume needs to speak to multiple industries at once. Highlight transferable PM frameworks like PMP or Agile that translate across sectors, not just one niche vertical.
Align your credentials to specialty occupation standards
USCIS requires H-1B roles to qualify as specialty occupations. For Senior Project Management, document that your position requires a bachelor's degree or higher in a specific technical or business discipline, not just general management experience.
Target open roles before H-1B cap season closes
If you need a new H-1B and aren't cap-exempt, USCIS registration opens in March for an October 1 start. Search Senior Project Management openings at Jobot in January or February to give your employer enough lead time to file.
Use Migrate Mate to filter Jobot's open roles by visa type
Jobot posts a high volume of Senior Project Management positions at any given time. Use Migrate Mate to filter specifically for roles that match your visa category so you're not manually screening listings that won't work for your situation.
Prepare your TN documentation if you hold Canadian or Mexican citizenship
Senior Project Management can qualify under the TN Management Consultant category, but you'll need documentation showing the role is project-based and consultative, not a permanent internal management position. Have your offer letter and degree transcripts ready before your port of entry appointment.

Find Senior Project Management at Jobot JobsFrequently Asked Questions
Does Jobot sponsor H-1B visas for Senior Project Managements?
Yes, Jobot does sponsor H-1B visas for Senior Project Management roles. As a staffing and recruiting firm, Jobot acts as the petitioning employer, which means the sponsorship is tied to Jobot rather than the end client. You'll want to confirm this arrangement in writing during the offer stage, since the placement model can create ambiguity about who files the petition with USCIS.
Which visa types are commonly used for Senior Project Management roles at Jobot?
Jobot sponsors H-1B, F-1 OPT, and TN visas for Senior Project Management positions. H-1B is the most common path for longer-term placements. F-1 OPT works for candidates within their authorized work period, including the 24-month STEM extension if your degree qualifies. TN is available to Canadian and Mexican citizens whose role qualifies under USMCA professional categories.
What qualifications or experience are expected for Senior Project Management roles at Jobot?
Jobot's Senior Project Management openings typically require a bachelor's degree in a field like engineering, business, or information systems, combined with several years of hands-on project delivery experience. PMP certification, Agile or Scrum credentials, and experience managing cross-functional teams are frequently listed requirements. Because Jobot places candidates with client companies across industries, demonstrable experience in more than one sector strengthens your profile.
How do I apply for Senior Project Management jobs at Jobot?
You can browse and apply for Senior Project Management positions at Jobot directly through Migrate Mate, which filters open roles by visa sponsorship type so you only see listings relevant to your immigration status. Once you identify a role, the application process typically moves through a recruiter screen, followed by client-facing interviews. Have your visa documentation and work authorization dates ready early since Jobot's recruiters will ask about your status in the first conversation.
How do I time my application to avoid gaps in work authorization?
If you're on H-1B and changing employers, the portability rules under AC21 allow you to start with Jobot once your transfer petition is filed, without waiting for approval, as long as your previous H-1B was approved and you've been in valid status. For F-1 OPT candidates, apply well before your EAD expiration date since USCIS processing for cap-subject H-1B petitions can take several months beyond the October 1 start date.
