Frame your PMP or credentials for KPMG
KPMG's Program Manager roles in accounting and advisory contexts reward formal project credentials. A PMP certification or equivalent signals you can manage the structured, compliance-heavy engagements KPMG runs for audit and tax clients, which strengthens your application before sponsorship discussions begin.
Target KPMG's advisory and transformation practices
Program Manager openings at KPMG cluster heavily in its advisory and digital transformation practices. Filtering your search to these business units surfaces roles where sponsorship is more routine, since those teams scale quickly and are accustomed to sponsoring international hires for program delivery positions.
Use Migrate Mate to surface open KPMG roles
KPMG posts Program Manager positions across multiple practice areas simultaneously, making it easy to miss relevant openings. Use Migrate Mate to filter KPMG jobs by visa type so you're only reviewing roles where H-1B or E-3 sponsorship is already part of the hiring pipeline.
Clarify sponsorship timing before final interviews
KPMG's HR process distinguishes between offer acceptance and the formal sponsorship decision. Raise visa sponsorship directly with the recruiter before your final round, not after an offer, so both parties understand the H-1B filing timeline relative to your current status or OPT expiration date.
Prepare for the LCA prevailing wage requirement
DOL requires KPMG to file a Labor Condition Application certifying your offered salary meets the prevailing wage for the Program Manager role in your work location. Understand that the LCA is location-specific, so a role in New York carries a different wage floor than one in a smaller market.
Align your start date around H-1B cap deadlines
If you're cap-subject, USCIS only accepts H-1B petitions for October 1 start dates, with the registration window opening in March. Confirm with KPMG's immigration team early whether your offer can accommodate that timeline or whether a cap-exempt filing path applies to your situation.

Find Program Manager at KPMG JobsFrequently Asked Questions
Does KPMG sponsor H-1B visas for Program Managers?
Yes, KPMG sponsors H-1B visas for Program Manager roles. KPMG has an established immigration function that works with external counsel to file H-1B petitions, including cap-subject registrations and cap-exempt filings where eligible. Sponsorship is most common in its advisory, audit, and technology transformation practices, where Program Manager demand is consistent and international hiring is part of the standard recruiting process.
Which visa types does KPMG commonly sponsor for Program Manager roles?
KPMG sponsors H-1B visas for Program Managers as the primary nonimmigrant work visa. Australian citizens may qualify for the E-3, which follows a similar process but without the lottery. For long-term hires, KPMG also supports Green Card pathways through EB-2 and EB-3 classifications, typically after a period of employment. The right visa type depends on your nationality, background, and the specific role location.
What qualifications does KPMG expect for a sponsored Program Manager role?
KPMG Program Manager roles typically require a bachelor's degree in business, management, or a related field, with several years of experience managing complex projects in professional services or a regulated industry. A PMP certification strengthens your candidacy significantly. For visa sponsorship to proceed, your degree and experience must support the specialty occupation standard USCIS applies to H-1B petitions.
How do I apply for Program Manager jobs at KPMG?
You can browse open Program Manager positions through KPMG's careers site or find visa-sponsoring roles directly on Migrate Mate, which filters KPMG listings by sponsored visa type. Apply with a resume tailored to the specific practice area, highlight relevant project delivery experience, and flag your visa status early in the recruiter screening call to avoid timeline mismatches later in the process.
How do I plan my timeline if KPMG is filing an H-1B for me?
The H-1B cap registration window opens in March, with a lottery selection typically completed by April and petitions filed for an October 1 start date. If you're on OPT, confirm whether your expiration date aligns with that window or whether a STEM OPT extension covers the gap. KPMG's immigration team will coordinate with their counsel once an offer is extended, but understanding the USCIS calendar before your offer is finalized helps you negotiate a realistic start date.
