Target USI's regional offices strategically
USI operates through a large branch network, and hiring decisions often sit with regional managing directors. Identify offices in markets where your insurance licensing or prior book of business is most relevant before applying.
Get your insurance producer license before interviews
Most Sales Executive roles at USI require a state-issued property and casualty or life and health producer license. Holding an active license when you apply removes a significant barrier for hiring managers weighing sponsorship cost against your readiness.
Use Migrate Mate to filter USI sponsorship-eligible openings
Not every Sales Executive posting at USI will come with sponsorship. Use Migrate Mate to filter live openings by visa type so you're only applying to roles where sponsorship is confirmed, saving time during your job search.
Prepare a portable client relationship narrative
USI Sales Executives are expected to build and retain accounts. Come to interviews with a concrete story about clients or revenue you've grown, which directly addresses the production expectations hiring managers use to justify sponsorship investment.

Find Sales Executive at USI Insurance Services JobsFrequently Asked Questions
Does USI Insurance Services sponsor H-1B visas for Sales Executives?
USI Insurance Services does not appear in public H-1B disclosure data as a consistent sponsor for Sales Executive roles. The visa types associated with this function at USI tend to be E-3, TN, and F-1 OPT. If you need H-1B sponsorship specifically, confirm directly with the recruiter during initial outreach, as sponsorship availability can vary by office and role level.
How do I apply for Sales Executive jobs at USI Insurance Services?
You can apply through USI's careers portal or find sponsorship-confirmed openings through Migrate Mate, which filters roles by visa type. When applying, tailor your resume to highlight insurance sales experience, any producer licenses you hold, and your track record growing client accounts. Mention your visa situation early so the recruiter can loop in HR on sponsorship feasibility before advancing you.
Which visa types are commonly used for Sales Executive roles at USI Insurance Services?
USI has sponsored Sales Executives on E-3 visas for Australian citizens, TN visas for Canadian and Mexican nationals in qualifying professional categories, and F-1 OPT and CPT for recent graduates. J-1 visa holders in eligible exchange programs have also been considered. Each visa type carries different eligibility rules, so confirm your category with USCIS guidance before applying.
What qualifications and experience does USI Insurance Services expect for Sales Executive roles?
USI typically looks for candidates with a bachelor's degree in business, finance, risk management, or a related field, along with an active state insurance producer license. Prior experience in commercial lines, employee benefits, or personal lines sales is valued. The role centers on client acquisition and retention, so a demonstrated history of building accounts carries significant weight in the hiring decision.
How do I think about timing when pursuing sponsorship for a Sales Executive role at USI?
Timing depends heavily on your visa category. E-3 and TN visas can be processed relatively quickly, often within a few weeks if the Labor Condition Application is filed promptly with the DOL. F-1 OPT has a 60-day grace period between jobs, so avoid gaps in employment authorization. Factor in state licensing requirements too since some states require a license before your start date, which can affect your overall timeline.
