About Branch
Branch is on a mission to make insurance more accessible, so more people can be covered. We innovate using data, tech, and automation to simplify insurance from start to finish—we eliminated inaccurate quotes in favor of real prices, created a better way to bundle, and cut unnecessary costs in the traditional insurance process. Then we pass those savings along to our members. Basically, we’re doing insurance the way it was meant to be.
But we didn’t just create the insurance we’ve always wanted, we also created the company we’ve always wanted to work for. As we redefine insurance, we also want to redefine what it means to work in insurance. Find out for yourself.
Branch has a preference for candidates in Ohio, but is open to candidates located in AZ, FL, GA, IL, IN, IA, KS, KY, MD, MI, MO, NV, NC, OH, PA, SC, SD, TN, TX, and WI. Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis. We are unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment visa at this time.
Branch is remote first, with most Branchers choosing to work from home. Our headquarters are located in Columbus, Ohio, where we come together from time to time to build relationships and connect with each other in real life. We also have office space in Columbia and Concordia, Missouri as well as Forreston, Illinois. Once a year, the entire company gathers for “BranchFest”, a highlight of the year for many Branchers.
About the role
Branch is seeking a Senior National Account Executive to lead our most strategically important partnerships segment: large corporate insurance agencies, and major non-insurance institutions where Branch's technology becomes core to how these enterprises operate and grow.
This is a platform sales role. Rather than managing a book of independent agents, you'll sell Branch's proprietary technology and capabilities as the infrastructure a large enterprise builds its growth on. You'll own the relationship end to end, build the business case and the consensus needed across technical, operational, and executive stakeholders, close complex deals that shape Branch's trajectory, and manage those partnerships to scale. Beyond your own accounts, you'll be a go-to voice on enterprise sales strategy and a resource other salespeople turn to.
This is a senior, high-visibility individual contributor role for someone who has built a career selling technology platforms into large, sophisticated enterprises, and who wants ownership of the accounts that define the next stage of Branch's growth.
Key Responsibilities
Own the full enterprise sales cycle for Branch's most strategically significant accounts — large corporate insurance agencies and major non-insurance institutions — from first conversation through technical evaluation to a signed, live partnership.
Build a targeted pipeline of enterprise-scale insurance agencies and institutions, positioning Branch's technology as the platform these organizations build their insurance growth on.
Navigate complex, multi-stakeholder enterprise buying processes — technology, operations, product, and executive sponsors — building the business case and consensus needed to close.
Partner with Branch's Product and Engineering teams to scope integrations, address technical requirements, and translate partner needs into product input.
Manage and grow live partnerships post-launch: drive adoption, expand usage of Branch's platform, and grow production over time through a land-and-expand approach.
Structure and negotiate commercial and technical deal terms, and drive agreements through legal and compliance to signature.
Act as a subject-matter expert on enterprise/platform sales, owning the enterprise methodology that guides other salespeople and contributing to how Branch approaches sales strategy more broadly.
Work closely with account management, implementation, and customer success teams to ensure smooth technical onboarding and go-live for signed partners.
Keep pipeline and forecasts accurate and current in Hubspot so leadership has a clear read on the business.
Skills, Knowledge, and Expertise
8+ years in enterprise or complex B2B sales, including at least 3 years selling into organizations with multi-layered, technical buying committees.
Track record closing technology/platform partnerships with large, corporate enterprises, not small or independently owned operators, that scaled materially after close.
Experience selling in a startup or early-stage environment, where the offering was still taking shape and you helped shape it. Founder, consultative, or solution-design experience is a strong signal here.
Comfortable running technical, product-oriented sales cycles: articulating platform capabilities, coordinating technical evaluations and integrations, and building ROI-driven business cases for enterprise stakeholders.
Ability to develop a deep understanding of Branch's product suite or value proposition: our proprietary technology and how it functions as a platform partners build on — able to position Branch as critical infrastructure, not just an insurance product.
Recognized internally and in the market as an expert others turn to for guidance on enterprise deal strategy and execution.
Excellent communicator across technical and executive audiences.
Proven track record hitting quota and production targets on complex, long-cycle enterprise deals.
Manages several large, multi-stage enterprise deals concurrently without anything slipping.
Skilled negotiator on both commercial and technical contract terms.
Comfortable traveling regularly, in the range of 30 to 50%, flexing to what the deals need. Operates with full autonomy and proactive communication about account strategy and prioritization
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience; fluent with CRMs and standard productivity tools.
Familiarity with insurance is welcome and not required. What matters is that you can learn a complicated business quickly.

Enterprise Account Director Jobs in Ohio: Frequently Asked Questions
How do you become an enterprise account director in Ohio?
Most enterprise account directors in Ohio reach the role after several years in B2B sales, typically progressing from account executive or senior account manager positions. There is no state-issued license required, but employers consistently favor candidates with a bachelor's degree in business, technology, or a related field. Earning a recognized sales certification such as Certified Professional Sales Person strengthens candidacy, and experience within Ohio's dominant sectors like healthcare IT, fintech, or manufacturing software accelerates the path considerably.
How much do enterprise account directors make in Ohio?
Enterprise account directors in Ohio earn a median of about $59,390 a year, based on May 2025 Bureau of Labor Statistics wage data, ranging from around $36,110 for the lowest 10% to over $122,100 for the top 10%. Pay rises with experience, specialty, and employer.
Which companies hire enterprise account directors in Ohio?
Employers hiring enterprise account directors in Ohio right now include HP, Bluebird Fiber, and Halcyon, based on current listings on Migrate Mate as of September 2026. Ohio's concentration of Fortune 500 headquarters, large regional healthcare networks, and established technology firms means consistent enterprise-level account roles across multiple industries.
Which Ohio cities have the most enterprise account director jobs?
Columbus, Ohio, and Cleveland have the most enterprise account director openings in Ohio. Columbus leads because of its dense cluster of insurance, fintech, and technology company headquarters, while Cleveland's strength in healthcare and manufacturing drives demand there, and Cincinnati's consumer goods and financial services sector sustains a steady share of enterprise account roles.
Are there remote enterprise account director jobs in Ohio?
Yes, and more than most fields. Enterprise account director work is inherently relationship-driven and often conducted through video calls, digital platforms, and travel rather than a fixed office, making it well suited to remote and hybrid arrangements. About 88% of enterprise account director openings tied to Ohio are remote or hybrid as of September 2026, reflecting the desk-based, client-facing nature of the role. Strategic account planning and internal coordination tend to be the most fully remote parts of the position.
How can I get hired as an enterprise account director in Ohio with little or no experience?
The most realistic entry path is to secure a business development representative or account executive role at a mid-to-large Ohio technology or insurance company, then build toward the director level. Companies like Nationwide, Progressive, and Ohio-based managed service providers routinely run structured sales development programs that recruit recent graduates. Lateral moves from customer success management or inside sales are common, and completing a recognized sales methodology certification gives candidates without a long tenure a concrete credential that Ohio hiring managers recognize.
Where can I find and apply to enterprise account director jobs in Ohio?
You can find and apply to enterprise account director jobs in Ohio on Migrate Mate, which lists current Ohio openings across Columbus, Cleveland, Cincinnati, and beyond. Find roles that fit your background and apply directly to the employer through the listing.
