About the Role
We're looking for a Senior Paid Social Manager who is a true specialist in paid social performance marketing. You’ll manage our paid social campaigns end-to-end: platform partnerships, testing and measurement, driving web and app conversions at scale across markets.
This is a role for someone who has done this at real scale: you've managed paid social budgets of $30M+ annually, you understand attribution deeply, and you bring rigor, curiosity, and sharp analytical instincts to everything you touch. You should be comfortable digging into the data yourself — building your own analyses, spotting issues before anyone asks, and translating numbers into clear action. If that sounds like you, you'll fit right in.
You're also a builder, not just an operator. When a workflow is slow or a test framework doesn't exist yet, you build it rather than waiting for someone else to. You think like a creator: better tests, sharper creative, smarter systems. If that sounds like you, you'll fit right in.

What You’ll Do
Own Paid Social channel performance globally: manage campaigns optimizing for web and app conversions, subscriptions, and growth KPIs across multiple geographies and markets. Evaluate and pilot new platforms and formats as they become relevant.
Drive full-funnel results: manage budgets, bidding strategies, audience segmentation, and creative testing to consistently hit CPA and ROAS targets at scale
Manage platform partnerships: own the relationship with paid social channel reps, including beta access, product roadmap input, billing, and spend reconciliation.
Own analysis and reporting: run proactive weekly performance analyses, using Excel and other tools to diagnose trends and surface opportunities. Design and run incrementality tests (geo holdouts, lift studies) to confirm spend is driving net new users, not just capturing demand that would have converted anyway.
Navigate app campaign complexity: own tracking setup (Conversions API), MMP integration (Singular, AppsFlyer, Adjust, etc.), and mobile attribution nuance across platforms
Build your own tools: when something is broken or needs improvement, build the fix yourself. Write the script, build the dashboard, design the smarter test framework. You do not wait for someone else to solve it, and you use your best judgement and expertise to make sure the analysis, strategy and execution drives excellent results.
Partner with creative & across the business: own all creative analysis and give structured feedback on ad creative, brief new concepts, and drive iteration based on performance data. Work with lifecycle/CRM, product, data science, and finance to align on audience strategy, budget, and measurement.
Own budget and forecasting: manage pacing across campaigns and markets, proactively reallocating spend to what’s working
Communicate with clarity: translate complex campaign data into sharp insights and recommendations for cross-functional stakeholders
Qualifications
3+ years hands-on managing conversion-optimized paid social campaigns (must have specific paid social channel experience) with multi-million annual budget responsibility across major platforms
Strong grasp of web conversion campaigns — pixels, events, landing page performance, and full-funnel optimization
Experience running global campaigns across multiple geographies and markets
Experience with app campaign mechanics and mobile attribution (MMPs like Singular, AppsFlyer, Adjust; SKAdNetwork, postbacks, etc.)
Sharp analytical skills: advanced in Excel, including pivot tables, with a track record of proactively running weekly and ad hoc analyses to diagnose performance and drive decisions — not just reporting on results, but getting ahead of them
Comfortable operating in a fast-moving environment where channels, tools, and strategy evolve constantly
Nice to have: experience across a broad range of paid channels beyond the major social platforms (such as, X, Snapchat, Pinterest)
Additional Notes
Must be eligible to work in the US.
Must be willing to work 5 days/week in-office.

Growth Marketing Lead Jobs in New York: Frequently Asked Questions
How do you become a growth marketing lead in New York?
Growth marketing lead is not a licensed profession in New York, so there is no state-issued credential required to work in the role. Most New York employers expect a bachelor's degree in marketing, business, economics, or a quantitative field, combined with hands-on channel ownership experience. Earning recognized certifications in Google Ads, Meta Blueprint, or HubSpot strengthens a candidate's profile considerably in the competitive New York market.
How much do growth marketing leads make in New York?
Growth marketing leads in New York earn a median of about $181,200 a year, based on May 2025 Bureau of Labor Statistics wage data, ranging from around $104,140 for the lowest 10% to over $324,310 for the top 10%. Pay rises with experience, specialty, and employer.
Which companies hire growth marketing leads in New York?
Employers hiring growth marketing leads in New York right now include suno, NoGood, and Gen Digital, based on current listings on Migrate Mate as of September 2026. New York's dense concentration of fintech firms, media companies, and direct-to-consumer brands makes it one of the most consistent markets for growth marketing hiring in the United States.
Which New York cities have the most growth marketing lead jobs?
New York, Austin, and Nanuet have the most growth marketing lead openings in New York. New York City dominates because it is home to the largest cluster of SaaS companies, media groups, and consumer brands that rely heavily on growth functions, while Brooklyn and secondary metros benefit from spillover hiring and remote-compatible roles tied to those same Manhattan-headquartered employers.
Are there remote growth marketing lead jobs in New York?
Yes, and more than most fields. About 76% of growth marketing lead openings tied to New York are remote or hybrid as of September 2026, reflecting the fully digital nature of the work. Performance marketing, SEO strategy, and lifecycle automation are the sub-functions most consistently offered on a remote or hybrid basis by New York employers.
How can I get hired as a growth marketing lead in New York with little or no experience?
The most realistic entry path is landing a growth marketing coordinator or associate role at a New York startup or mid-size e-commerce brand, where smaller teams give junior staff direct channel ownership quickly. Large New York employers like Spotify and major fintech firms run structured associate rotational programs worth targeting. Building a portfolio of self-run paid campaigns or demonstrable SEO results, even from personal projects, consistently moves candidates past the experience filter at New York companies.
Where can I find and apply to growth marketing lead jobs in New York?
