Job Description

Logistics Management: Oversee and coordinate all logistics operations, including planning, implementation, and monitoring of supply chain processes to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of goods.
Supplier and Carrier Coordination: Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers, carriers, and other stakeholders to facilitate smooth logistics operations. This includes negotiating contracts and rates to optimize costs.
Inventory Control: Monitor inventory levels and manage stock to ensure that products are available when needed while minimizing excess inventory.
Data Analysis: Analyze logistics data to identify trends, improve processes, and implement strategies that enhance operational efficiency and reduce costs.
Problem Resolution: Address and resolve any issues that arise during the transportation process, ensuring compliance with regulations and company policies.
Documentation and Reporting: Prepare and maintain detailed logistics documentation, including shipping records, inventory reports, and compliance documentation.
Team Leadership: Supervise and mentor logistics staff, providing guidance and support to ensure that team members meet performance goals and adhere to best practices.
Project Implementation: Lead logistics projects aimed at improving efficiency, such as implementing new technologies or processes to streamline operations.
Qualifications
- Strong organizational and analytical skills to manage complex logistics operations.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills to work effectively with suppliers and carriers.
- Proficiency in logistics software and tools for tracking shipments and managing inventory.
- Problem-solving abilities to address challenges in the supply chain effectively.
- SAP experience is greatly valued.
Additional Information
The expected salary range for this position is $30 per hour. In addition, INFICON employees are eligible for a profit-sharing bonus with a target of 10%. The actual compensation will be determined based on experience, location, and other factors permitted by law.
