The standard path is a bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, business, or a related field, followed by hands-on experience through internships or entry-level roles. Massachusetts employers, particularly those in biotech and financial services, value candidates who can show a portfolio of campaigns or measurable results alongside their degree.
How much do marketing specialists make in Massachusetts?
Marketing specialists in Massachusetts earn a median of about $101,810 a year, based on May 2025 Bureau of Labor Statistics wage data, ranging from around $58,090 for the lowest 10% to over $166,970 for the top 10%. Pay rises with experience, specialty, and employer.
Which companies hire marketing specialists in Massachusetts?
